I watched Tamotsu run out of the room to follow Kasumi. My heart ached for them and for myself. But I couldn't let myself think about my ow nproblems right now. I turned to Shiori.
"I have to go with her. If she and Tamotsu got hurt and I wasn't there..." My voice trailed off.
"I understand. Go." she said.
"If you have trouble, talk to Ariel or Sky. Tell Ben that I'm sorry. He'll know what I'm talking about."
She nodded and I slipped on my jacket. I silently went out into the hall to see Kas and Tamotsu just disappearing around the corner. I ran after them.
"Hey you two! Where do you think your going?" I put on a fake smile to try and make a bleak situation look better. Kasumi turned and tried her best to smile to.
I hugged her and said, "You aren't going anywhere without me."
She giggled weakly.
"Come on, let's go before someone notices please," Tamotsu said.
Together the three of us slipped outside. We were not far however when we heard the sound of gunshots and the screams of our friends from behind. I turned and gasped, filling with rage.
