The door of the van opened and there stood Zero. My hero. My knight in shining armor. I hated how cheesy it sounded, but it was truly how I felt. I hated having been locked up. The darkness in the van scared me as much as not knowing what was to come.
"Zero!" I cried out his name as I grabbed the bars of the cage in front of me. "I'm over here!" I called. Being in the back corner, I was being blocked by the cage in front of me.
Zero rushed over to me, fiddling with the lock on the cage. "The keys are hung up over there," I pointed to nail in the side of the van that they were hanging on.
"Convenient," he smiled as he rushed over to it before returning to unlock my cage.
As the door opened, I sprung out, engulfing him in a hug. "I knew you'd come!" I cried as I kissed him, not even caring that there were other halfers in the van all watching us right now. "Where is Asuka and Kiyoko?" I asked, suddenly coming to my senses.
"Safe. Let's get everyone out of these cages so we can get back to the hotel and meet up with everyone," Zero said as he began unlocking all of the other cages, setting everyone else free.
