I paced the cage anxiously as the van came to a stop; there was a low muttering of voices until the sound of the lock clicking from the double door perked my ears. Without warning, they flew open and a small brigade of hunters stood before us.

"Take the husky first, She might get out of her cage." One of them said opening her cage. I threw myself into the bars in a rage shoving my fangs at them between the bars.

I barked and snarled as they hurt Kallik. The forced some kind of collar on her; it wouldn’t be long before I would be next.

“Anyone want to get the wolf.” One of them called as he pointed a finger at me; the men looked at each other; no one willing to volunteer.

“Fine then you god damn pansies; I’ll get her.” He pointed a handgun to my face making sure I didn’t do anything stupid and slowly moved his hand toward the lock. My eyes never left the gun but I continued letting out a low growl as he slowly lifted it up. Kallik whined as she watched from a distance. The final click rang in my ears; I ran my head against the bars ducking as a bullet shot the air where my head once was. I sprang out lunging into one of the guard’s throats…
