Machii~

I followed behind a group of various half-breeds. I didn't know any of them. None of them looked at or talked to me. They said they were out to find the captured half-breeds, but... we didn't seem to be getting anywhere. How would this help me find Sky?
I changed into my tiger form and ran away unnoticed. I ran until the woods concealed me. Panting, I sniffed the ground. No. This wasn't right. I couldn't scent Sky anywhere!
Frantically, I ran around, searching for the faintest scent. Nothing. Exhausted, I finally stopped to rest. I sat down and tried to think of something. Nothing came to mind. I was just about to give up and go back with the group of half-breeds when I caught a scent. Just a faint one, carried by the wind, but it was definitely there. Sky.
I changed back into human form and began following the scent. It got stronger as I went on, and before I knew it I had began to run. Then, just as suddenly as I had found it, I lost it.
The scent just stopped. Cut off. I could tell this was the last place that Sky had been. But how? I took a step back, and for a split second, I saw the world around me rising, then everything went black.

It was the weirdest sensation, being surrounded by pure darkness, and nothing else. There was no ground under me, nothing around me, and it didn't feel like I was moving at all. Just sort of hovering in nothingness.
I hit the ground with big thump. It hurt, and I just sat there for a while, recovering. I crawled until I hit something. It was a wall, I followed it. It went in a big circle. Then the realization struck me. I was in a trap. One that the hunters put out, hoping that I would fall in. Well, their wish had come true. And I was stuck.
