~Sebastien~
I gave a slight nod as the guards led Clementine away. They locked the heavy iron door.
“Certainly troublesome, aren’t they?” I mused; leaning my head against the palm of my hand.
“Yes it’ll take a good while to break them into shape; you were quite stubborn yourself if I remember correctly.”
I scowled slightly but then returned my false humored smile. “It is simply in my nature but I have outgrown it since.” I waved my hand good naturedly while my inner raven spirit desired to claw their retinas from their feeble skulls.
“You could teach them a few things.” He laughed. “I tell ya I hate rounding up those sorry beasts.”
“Maybe another time; I must prepare be on my hay.” I nodded and turned my coattails whipping behind me. As far as it concerned me they were quite sorry but the adjustment shan’t take long.
Clementine, huh? I practically laughed out loud; what an amusing name! It has been too long since I’ve had such fun.
I sighed adjusting my jacket and maintained a serious composure; fluttering into Giovana’s room landing silently onto my perch set up at the far side of the room.
She paid me no mind as she scowled at the beaten husky on the floor. “Sebastien, did you set them straight?” I landed gingerly on my feet out of the thin air and held my hat to my chest.
“I did my best but they are terribly stubborn; but I can see you’re already aware of that.” I made a pointed look to miss Kallik as she lay almost unmoving. Giovana grimaced.
“They’ll learn soon.” She raved sounding completely sure of herself. She waved to the guard to take Kallik away and they did so simply dragging her from the room.
“Sebastien, go get the rest of the halfers and make sure there ready for dinner; I want to make their first meal special after all.” She laughed; I smirked. She always took joy in making new halfers sit around a table of luxurious food after starving them for seemingly endless days, what a delightful torture. I thought semi-humored. “Oh and give them fresh clothes; they look like street mutts.” She spat disgustingly.
“Yes, your highness.” I gingerly dropped my hat back upon my head and flew from the room.
Merely but a few minutes passed I landed onto the guard’s shoulder. He turn white as a corpse and let out a dreadful scream as he lept from his chair.
“Oh, it’s only you.” He said; his voice still shaking in terror. I lept from his should landing on my heels quite gracefully. His face was red with a slight tint of anger and embarrassment. But, If I never deserved a moment’s rest then neither did he.
“If you’ll excuse me; I muse prepare our guest for dinner.” I smiled.
The guard regarded me cautiously but allowed me entrance; he called in the remaining back-up squad to follow me in. The halfers had been carrying on a conversation in my short absence; they quickly silenced as they caught sight of me.
“Great the crow is back and he brought his friends.” The mangy Sheppard regarded sarcastically. I clenched my fist but remained calm otherwise. I would take slightly sadistic pleasure in seeing him put in his place.
“Don’t fret, I’ve merely come to escort you to dinner.” I set down the two bags I had been carrying and pulled out their contents.
“Please change into these much more formal attire since we are having a much more formal gathering. The guard will take to different rooms and the rest of the servents will get you prepared.” I tossed the simple dresses to the ladies while dropping the suits to the rest.
“No way in hell am I wearing this!” Jethro rudely barked. Kallik had already sank her teeth into the skirt threatening to tear it; her energy never wavered it seemed. I sighed, they were like rudely behaved children.
“If you don’t, I can assure you will certainly get nothing to eat and be sent away to be tortured, the choice is yours.” I sighed, if they choose to starve it was certainly none of my concerns. “Now if you’ll excuse me I must finish preparing for dinner.”
I left the room to make another trek back to the kitchen; how exhausting this day was.

I stood up sorely holding the fresh clothes in my hands. I didn’t complain really; my own clothes were destroyed and they were stained my dry blood and dirt.
The guards opened the doors and clicked the heavy chains to our collars. It was a sickening feeling as they lead us away. I’m not sure if the others had decided on going through with this.
I hadn’t eaten since we had arrived at the hotel I couldn’t deny my hunger as it took hold of my senses. The hall was lifeless and no hope seemed to reside in them. We had come up with no escape plan and after seeing the surroundings of this fortress of a manor it was hard to believe there was any escape.
They threw Alissa, Kallik, Kari, Hana, and I into a room. Locking the door; making sure we made no attempt. I guess it wouldn’t be long before that man named Sebastien came to get us and take us to Giovana.
