That stupid, no good, dirty rotten spoiled little brat! Not only does she have really bad hair, her attitude sucks!!!! Who does she think she is, calling us her pets?! I will NEVER bow down to a human, especially one that will hurt my friends. Ugh! Who cares if she has really nice suits! I hate her! HATE HER!
I sigh, shaking my head.. Echos getting ticked, meaning this isn't going to end well.
"GET HER OUT NOW; TEACH HER MANNERS FOR HER MASTER!" Vana screamed. A guard goes over to Echo, and snaps the heavy chain back onto her collar.
"Echo!" Kallik shouts. THe guard forces her to stay back, and then he drags Echo out of the room. I stare at the door until a few minutes later. Then, I look back at Vana. She seemed a bit calmer, and was about to start.... .uh..... giving us "Inspirational speeches" again. Vana takes a deep breath, and looks at us.
"Anyways, my darling pets." She says, smiling. "Unless you want to end up being dragged away in chains, you'll respect me. Vana looks at each of us in turn, and when she looks at me, we make eye contact.
"Yes, mutt?" She asks me, crossing her arms.
"Oh, nothing!" I say, acting cheerful. "I was just wondering if you were ever going to fix you hair. You see, it's aggravating me." I smile, and her eyes narrow.
"What did you say?" She says. I shrug.
"Do I really need to repeat myself? I SAID that your hair is obnoxious! Goodness, you really must be stupid. And here I was, just thinking that you were a slight bit slow. Man, I was wrong." I smirk. A few people around me gasp, and it sounds like one or two guards moved towards my chair. I couldn't tell, because I was in the middle of staring down Vana. She stands up and strolls over to my chair. I stand up too, and put my hands on my hips.
"Don't talk to me like that, you filthy stray." She says. I wince, her hand hitting me across the face.
"Ah!" I gasp as my eyes fill up with tears. I hear Kari stifling a laugh, and I make a mental note to kill her. I can feel my cheek heating up, and I slowly sit down. Vana walks back around the table, to her seat.
"Now, will you behave?" She asks, her hand near her remote. I can see her fingers edging towards the button that she used to shock Echo.
"I'll never bow down to you." I say with full confidence. Now, I don't think this is the brightest choice on my part, since I'm still like, near dead. Vana slams her hand down on the button, and electricity runs through me. I fall out of my seat, and hit the ground. My chair gets flipped over in the process, and I lay on the ground, eyes closed and panting.
"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow." I say to myself. These shock collars hurt like crap; let me tell you that you never wanna wear one. I hear the screeching of chair legs on the floor, and I open my eyes slightly to see my fave person. You know, the guard who beat me up in the McDonald's parking lot? Yeah, him.
"Now, whats this cute little puppy been up to???" He says, flicking my ear.
"None of your darn business." I hiss back, trying to inch away. He grabs my shock collar, and hoists me off the ground. Vana is about to say something when the doors crash open. I look over, and see to hunters, two of them, holding onto a young girl.
"What do we have here?" Vana says, standing up. She walks over to the hunters and the small girl. I watch as Vana touches her face, and she winces.
"Its the one who tried to escape earlier. We caught her creeping down the hallway." One of the guards says. Vana draws her hand back, ready to strike the girl.
The sound of Vana's hand across the girl's face seemed deafening to me, and I winced.
"Makina, I TOLD you to be a good fox.... didn't I?" Vana asks, turing away. Makina, the small girl, nods. "And you didn't, did you?" Makina shakes her head no.
"Well," Vana turns back to the girl. "Bad girls must be punished, yes?" Makina's burgundy eyes fill with tears. Vana turns to the guard.
"You, take her and the other ones back to their cages. Throw Makina in with one of the dogs." She says to one guard. Then she turned to the guard restraining me. "And YOU, take him away and teach him a lesson. Then put him back in his cage."
The guards take us in different directions. I'm going one way, while everyone else is going the other way. I get thrown into a dark room, and the guard follows me.
"Now, punishment, is it?" He says. I watch as he lays out some weapons. THeres a sword, a knife, a dagger, and gun, and something that I think was a grenade.... but I could be wrong about that.
"Ooooh, which are you going to use?" I ask, pretending to be interested. "I mean, I think you've used most of these on me." I smile, looking up at him. He grabs me, his hand going around my neck. Then, he picks up the dagger.
"I think I'll use this one." Hugh, that's his name, smiles sinisterly at me. He chucks me back on the ground, puts one foot on me, and rips my shirt. "I think some permanent scars will do you some good, mutt."
I scream as he slashes my stomach with the daggers sharp point. I pass out, but only after seeing slash marks in the shape of an X going across my body. I think of that boy again, hearing his cries.
I wake up again to the sound of that stupid crow's voice. Jake is outta his cage, and stretching. I look around my cage, and see a girl about 8 sitting near me, he burgundy eyes wide. She brushes her short, redish brown hair out of her face. I smile at her softly.
"It'll be okay, Makina. Don't worry." I say. Then I turn towards Jake, who is silently doing something. "Yo, dude! Whats going on?!"
Hopefully, we're about to turn this place into a madhouse.
