“Sebastien, can I ask you something?” I asked him as we walked through the halls down to Giovanna's room. I was just merely curious. It had surprised me that he had agreed to this. I didn't think he would, being how he is a raven...
We had left everybody in front of the hallway, near the stairs, just in case anything happened. I knew they were wanting a fight. Hell, so was I, and I wanted to rip out that girl's throat badly. When it comes to these things, I'm just coldblooded.
“I do not see why not, what are you wondering?” Sebastien asked as he looked over his shoulder at me.
“Why did you agree so easily to all of this?” I asked.
“Because I was bored!~” Sebastien said cheerfully and I cocked an eyebrow, somewhat puzzled. I didn't think he would do it out of boredom in the least. Maybe just to get out was in his head, but if this was utter boredom... It made me wonder why I had paired up with him.
“I already assume you can tell that I do not have a particular fondness for this kind of dreadful work. Though I will be punished quite severely later just showing her a smidge of the mutilation she has caused will be an immense joy.” It seemed like he had lost all hope of even getting out. He didn't really know that was part of the plan or he just didn't think that it would happen. Once I got out of this hellhole, I was just going to rip open a jacklope and eat it whole...
“Now shall we get going?~” He smiled and I smiled, with the same expression flinting over my eyes. We meant business.
We walked until we got to the purple, thick, wooden door with Sebastien slowly turning it so that it wouldn't make a sound. I followed behind, but almost tripped over the gigantic pile of clothes on the floor with a shudder from Sebastien. Didn't this girl ever have manners, as if even parents to guide her? Then again, I killed mine... Can't really contradict that.
Sebastien gave me a glare and I rolled my eyes and just kicked it to the side with a shrug. Sebastien and I kept a close eye on Giovanna as she slept, and just like planned, I slipped behind the bed and Sebastien turned on the light.
“Sebastien? Why are you in here?” She stifled the yawn. I was so close... the killer instinct in me almost took over.
Sebastien lifted his fingers, his index and thumb, and on cue as he snapped his fingers, I lifted the sickly pink collar I had found earlier that had putrid rhinestones on it, around her neck and clicked it on.
“What are you doing?!” Her fury took over her and clawed at the collar. Couldn't blame her... but I was so close to ripping out that throat...
“Oh how should I say it…ah! Giving you a taste of your own medicine.~” Sebastien cooed out smoothly and we both smirked.
She lunged to hit Sebastien and just as she did, I pressed the red button on the remote and sent shock waves through her body. She lurched back in pain with her hands at her neck and when the shock wave was over, Sebastien and I both laughed.
I then walked over, grabbed a chair from the desk next to her bed, and turned it around to look at Giovanna and leaned towards her, her cringing away like a small child.
“Now, let’s talk,” I said. I wasn't really in a good mood.
Then, completely unexpectedly, Hana came out of nowhere with the order from Giovanna and she ran out of the room with the collar going off her neck after Hana smashing the button and swiping Sebastien against the wall.
Immediately, I transformed into my lion state, wincing at the pain inflicted on my shoulder and my leg as Giovanna locked the room behind her and both of us growled at each other as we stalked each other in small circles, I keeping an eye on Sebastien, who was stirring awake.
Hana got a small shock from her collar and pounced at me but I avoided it and she crashed into the walls.
"You know, I can get that collar off. It's not hard," I growled towards her as she stood up and looked at me like I was crazy.
"What are you talking about? I've already tried to take it off," Hana said but I scoffed.
"And you see no collars around our necks?" She then stared at our necks as we stopped stalking each other.
I transformed back into my human form, walked towards Hana with her growling just a little but I ignoring it, and took the collar off of her neck with a small click. I put it on my shoulder to hold and then walked over to Sebastien, who was leaning against the wall. I raised my eyebrows at him.
"I'm fine. Go. Let's finish this," Sebastien said and I just nodded and Sebastien went to go talk to Hana as I transformed back into my halfer form and pawed the door down and chased after Giovanna.
I could find her scent automatically, which was down the stairs, in some part of the house I didn't know. Luckily for me, everybody was fighting, but just to get advancement on our side, I transformed back into human on the stairs without anybody noticing and took the button from inside my jacket and pressed the green button.
Every single hunter screamed in pain as they withered on the floor, not even avoiding the hits by the halfers, they seeming to be the ones from the group earlier, which didn't even seem like earlier now, and them kill every single hunter that was in their way, since they were withering on the floor from the collars around their necks that were shocking them.
I then continued down the stairs in my human form and followed Giovanna's scent. Once I found it, I found myself in one of the remote rooms only for the collars, the one I was just in. Giovanna was by herself, and I didn't sense any hunters around me, but just in case, I pressed the button again and I heard hunters upstairs screaming in pain. Giovanna turned to me.
"You've been bad! You're sure to get punished now!" Giovanna giggled as she grabbed a button and tried to shock me. I just blinked, and that's when she realized I didn't have a collar on, and that all the men upstairs did.
"Do you think I'm stupid? A little lion halfer that has no wits and will do whatever you tell me to do? Come on, little girl, you have no chance in this fight," I growled and she stepped back a little, afraid.
"I have a feeling you want to see Harmony, correct?" I growled and she hesitated in answering.
"Come on. I'm sure you can talk. You've talked before multiple times, torturing us into obeying you. If you think that's one way of getting friends, you are wrong. I don't even have friends and I treat people better than you do, and I'm not in the mood now to even let you live but I'm going to.
If you want to go to Harmony, come with us. You just won't get sympathy like you want it. Chance of freedom, chance away from this hellhole. I'm an impatient man. Answer, or all the men upstairs will not survive," I growled, holding the button up in my hand, waiting for her reply.
I smelled no hunters, no nothing. Only her. I wasn't mistaken at all. But just in case, I locked the door behind me.
