I hit the wall with a deadening thud. I crooked my head to my chest as it bleed from those nasty claws. I chuckled, I saw such a thing coming; Hana was lashing at Jacob tearing at him. He had retreated into his lion form in an attempt to fend off her attacks.
I pushed myself up against the wall holding myself steady. Jacob was still going at it with Hana. Though to a great surprise he had talked her into a cease-fire if you will.
He clicked off her collar tossing it nonchalantly over his shoulder; I watched with curiousity then again I didn't really care to be involved.
Jacob turned to face me raising his eyebrows a little.
"I'm fine. Go. Let's finish this," I lied smoothly standing up and brushed off my clothes. "Nothing but a few bloodied feathers." I walked past him not looking him in the eyes; he merely transformed back into a lion and continued down the hall.
"You may do as you wish now, Miss Hana." I bowed slightly; she looked at me a hint of confusion lurked in her eyes.
"What about you?" was all she said.
"You needn't fret over me; I'll be fine." I laughed.
"No, I don't mean that; why didn't you tell him?" She was getting aggravated; I sighed so she had noticed.
"I assume you mean this." I clutched some of the fabric of my slacks and raised it slightly. The black bracelet was an eyesore as it was bound to my ankle. She nodded.
"You didn't really think it would be so easy for me to betray Giovana; she made sure to keep ways to control me." I smiled sadly. "Instead of merely shocking me; a poison is slowly seeping into my body through this. I knew full well that if I crossed her; she would make me suffer without a second thought. My very life is within her grasp." I expained quite shortly. When Giovana shocked the snow leopard into attack she cruely pressed the switch to my second remote. She knew I would make no move against her even if Miss Hana didn't kill me.
"Now, unless I want pernament damage done; I must go deal with these intruders. If you'll excuse me." I proceeded out the door and walked down the hall. I was not sure what she would do from there but I did not care really.
I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me, sir Jacob; but now I must go after your allies.
I searched around my room scanning along the walls until I found it.
"Ah." I picked up the cane it was as exquisite as ever. The smooth black metal was sensual between my fingers and the silver rook headed handle watched me silently. I tucked it under my arm and continued toward the main entrance.
Unlike a lion or a snow leopard, my form was quite useless by itself; I could not fight too well and curses take much too long to take proper effect.
But, I have trained myself to be a swift fighter; it didn't trouble me too greatly these halfers. They were terribly outnumbered and it would not take long to cut them down.
I scowled, they were truly a lot of fools if they believed that their allies would save them. Though this time it was different; I had let Jacob get inside my head. The longing for fresh air burned me inside but my reason overpowered my senseless longing. Even if I did make it outside; I would surely perish of poisoning and bloodloss within a matter of hours. My fate would not let me be lead astray.
I heard them coming. I laughed and quickened my pace. "I guess I better go greet our guest. I entered into the great hall and roasted on top of the ceiling crossbeams.
A group of about six ran in; I had heard another go off but I did not cross paths with him but he would be caught soon enough. Was that really all of them? This was more laughable than I previously thought. One of them held his hand out stopping the others.
"Wait, there's someone here." He spoke cooly; the others froze searching the room. I smirked, guess I had been noticed.
"Where?" A white haired woman asked. He looked up and glared at me from his low point.
"That's no ordinary bird." He scowled.
I lifted from the perch and swooped down landing into my human form on a bent knee a mere thirty feet from them.
"Who are you?" He growled. I laughed as I stood up my hair slightly tipped to conceal my face.

Sebastien came to help stop them; Ice and Nanuke are in there too. Sorry it drops off but I have to go somewhere so I was really rushed!
