This little girl was pissing me off. She just smirked and walked around the room filled with collars as if planning to do something while I leaned against the locked door. The scar across my eye was bugging me, itching away as she stopped in her tracks right in front of me and I bared my teeth and she jumped back a little.
"So what would happen if I went to Harmony with all the kitties and doggies?" Giovanna asked with a small smile and I sighed. She was annoying, alright.
"You'd probably be hated everybody and you can't treat us like pets. There are people there, including me, who would love to kill you on spot if you tried to treat us like your little pets. I'm not kidding," I spat and she jumped back a bit but still tried at best to keep standing.
"But... I want them to be! I mean, I want friends!" She cried and I rolled my eyes.
"You get friends by not treating them like shit and like pets, insolent girl. You get them by treating them nice. Didn't your parents ever teach you that?" I hissed and she looked at me before she looked at the ground. Apparently, she had parent issues and I wasn't going to prod. There wasn't a reason so why should I?
"Maybe.... Maybe I could...." She couldn't come with words. She was cruel and mean spirited. Was there a nice side to this girl?
"I just don't want anybody betraying me like Sebastien! He's been with me a long time and I didn't think this would happen! You all had to be nice pets to get along with me! I had to break you!" She yelled at me but I just blinked. Her yelling had no affect on me.
"You can't break animals that were born in the wild and grew up there. I did, and I would love to see your blood be spilled by my claws, and even though I'm cold blooded and a killer, doesn't mean that I won't kill girls," I growled and she looked at me like I was crazy.
"Look, if you want come, fine by me. You just have to handle nobody liking you because of how you treated us. And no collars, no nothing. Just essentials. I'm going to keep this collar-" I pointed to the pink collar on my shoulder. "-just in case anything happens with you. You can stay all around me if you want, but nobody will want to stay around you if you don't lose the personality." She whimpered a little and I rolled my eyes.
"Maybe I could come along..." I broke her spirit this time. It wasn't hard.
"Fine. Call off your guards once we get back to your room. Then we'll leave to go to Harmony. And it's cold, got it?" I told her and she just nodded and I turned around and bent down onto my back with my hands waiting to prop her up.
"Come on, then," I growled and she hesitantly got on my back and wrapped her legs around my chest after I put the collar in my lower pants pocket. I then unlocked the door and sped off in a different direction than before, where no fighting was accruing and got back to Giovanna's room.
Hana was inside, licking her wounds and once we entered, Hana growled automatically and Giovanna tried one last trick with grabbing a collar off the floor and trying to put it around her neck, but I kicked it out of her hands and put it in my pocket as she whimpered with rubbing her hands. Hana looked at me, confused.
"What's going on?" She asked as she stood up and I looked at Giovanna and growled, which made her get a bag and start to pack things.
"She's leaving with us to Harmony. She wanted to without dying, so that's your answer," I sighed as I watched her and she cautiously watched me as she put stuff into her bag.
"Why? We should kill her instead!" Hana exclaimed and I just sighed. I hated playing good guy.
"I'm just being too sympathetic... No parents, only enjoyment out of torture towards halfers. I thought we could rectify that attitude in the least," I sighed and she sighed and looked at me with glaring eyes. I knew I was going to get that, especially if I was going to have this girl probably attached to my leg the whole time.
"Fine. Have it your way," Hana sighed as she started to lick her paw and Giovanna finished up her bag.
"You mind looking through it just in case? I'm a guy, so I can't," I sighed, which made Hana sigh and go to the bag, search through it quickly with throwing out a few toys here and there, and then just scoffed and Giovanna just walked over to me and slung the bag over her shoulder after throwing on a jacket and boots. It was still snowing outside after all.
"Call off your guards first. Then we leave," I told her and she just nodded and went to her bed and picked up a talking device that looked like a walky-talky, but wasn't. Instead, it just echoed through the whole building.
"Guards, stop attacking. I'm leaving with them, so stop attacking at once." I heard guards grumbling outside of the room. "And release all of the other halfers to come with us. We are going to go to Harmony," Giovanna said with some pep in her voice and that made the guards shut up and I heard cages unlocking within rooms after the doors opened to the torture rooms. At least that was done with.
"Come on. Let's go," I told her coldly and she put the device down and walked over to me hesitantly as she got on my back again. She was lucky I was treating her this nicely.
Hana and I exited the room as more halfers joined us but was hesitant about being near Giovanna so they just stepped away. I made sure to keep her leaning on my good shoulder and not much pressure on my bad leg as I walked down the stairs and saw all of the halfers coming either out of their hiding place or just kill the guard they were in front of and then join along with us.
Once we got downstairs, I saw the rest of the group staring at Ice or Pierce or some calamari halfer. Pierce was about close to laughing as he saw me, and so was Moon and Rika.
"Just shut up," I growled and that's when I saw Sebastien not far off, leaning against a wall and breathing heavily. That's when I could smell his tainted blood and it really hit me. That idiot... He decided not to tell me about a stupid little device that I could now see on his ankle.
I put Giovanna down and she saw what I was seeing and giggled a little.
"Whoops," and then somebody slapped the back of her head and shut her up as I walked over to Sebastien and he just laughed.
"You can't do anything, Jake," Sebastien laughed as I bent down to his ankle, yanked out the device and the poison within it.
"Hold your breath," I told him as I stood back up and he was about to ask why before I bit into his neck.
I heard everybody exclaim but most of them were already outside, getting ready to travel. Only a few were inside, much of them just Pierce, the calamari halfer, a white leopard girl, and some of the wolves, along with Giovanna. Sebastien yelled out in pain but I concentrated on the poison seeping into his skin and blood. The blood vessels in his legs were already giving out but I drew out the poison from them slowly. I couldn't damage any more of the vessels than how they were already damaged, and it was a good thing I was biting into a certain part in his neck that wouldn't damage him at all.
Once I drew out the poison that was gathering around his internal organs, I had a huge amount of blood and poison in my mouth, but I kept on taking out the poison until I had all of it out. I was glad nobody else was really in here.
I slowly took out my fangs and went to the closest trash can and spit up all that was in my mouth.
"Idiot," Sebastien laughed and I glared at him after I spit up the last that was in my throat.
"I just saved your life. Take it as gratitude, you idiot. You're a friend of mine. Should it be any different?" I spat as I looked down at a dead guard and ripped up his shirt and then handed it to Sebastien after I wiped off my bloody mouth.
"Wrap up your neck. We're leaving. Permanently," I told him and he looked at me like I was crazy as I walked back to Giovanna and put her on my back.
"You think I like being the hero and the stupid good guy in this? I absolutely hate it. Come on, you idiot," I spat and we all left. This had taken a while, but maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all after this hellhole.
All we did was leave with an extra.

Woah, that took a long time. I don't want to be the center of attention when it comes to stuff like this, and that obviously shows how Jake formed. He hates to be the center of attention too. ^_^;;; Hope this was alright, and we finally got out of the house! XD
