~Jethro~
"Come on," I say, grabbing Makina's hand. "We're getting out of here." She looks at me with her burgundy eyes, then reluctantly let me pull her up. I wince as my injuries send stabbing pains through my body. I continue to hold the 8 year old's hand as we move behind the rest of the group. I see Kari, who turns around and looks at me.
"Hey, are you missing your bag?" She asks. I pat my back, and my eyes widen.
"Where is it?!" I don't know where i had put it last. It would be horrible if i had left it back in the cages. I look around frantically, seeing if anyone else had picked it up.
"Yeah, you seem pretty freaked out, huh, Jethro." Kari says, grinning. She pulls a backpack out from behind her, and I gasp.
"Kari, you are so dead!" I say, growling. She skips slightly, smiling.
"Yeah, you wouldn't have wanted to lose your pictures of you and your boyfriend, would you?" She asks. I glance quickly at Makina, who is looking back and forth between me and Kari.
"Hes not my boyfriend!" I shout, letting go of Makina's hand. I try to shift, so i can take Kari down, but instead I hit the ground in pain. My eyes fill up with tears, and the wounds across my stomach sting like fire.
"Yeah he is." Kari says back. I glare as I slowly get up off the ground. I'm about to say something when I hear a voice behind me.
"Hey, stray mutt!" I sigh, then turn around and smile slightly.
"Yes, Hugh?" I say sweetly, trying to not let my pain show through my smile.
"You looked familiar....." He says, walking towards me. "I've been trying to figure out why, but I think I know." Hugh runs his fingers across one of my cheeks, and i pull away in disgust.
"Where, then? Where have we seen each other before?!" I hear Kari's footsteps behind me, and then feel her hand on my shoulder.
"Jethro, come on!" She whispers.
"No!" I say back, not turning to face her. "I wanna hear what he has to say."
Hugh smirks slightly, and my eyes narrow.
"I believe I first saw you 2 or 3 years ago." He tells me. I tense up. Hugh walks a little closer to me, and moves my chin up so that I can look into his dark eyes.
"I think you recognize that mark... you and him now have matching ones!" He says, running one of his hands across the X on my stomach. I bite my lower lip and close my eyes in pain.
The image of that boy's crying face flashes through my mind; his voice is screaming in agony.
"You're a real piece of scum, you know that?!" I say to the guard. I step back slightly, pull my first back, and punch him square in the face. I smile as his nose makes a satisfying cracking noise.
"Die!" I spit at him. Then, I grab Makina's hand and push Kari forward.
"Let's go...." I look at Kari, who is staring at me.
"So," She says, smirking. "Who is this 'him' that the guard mention?" She laughs as my face flushes.
"None of your business." We walk out of the door, joined by Belk, and see everyone else standing there. Its a giant group of hugs, and excited chattering.
"Hey!" Zack says when she sees Belk. I'm out of breath, and feeling light headed again. I can tell that some of my wounds had opened up.
Zack and Zoey go and tackle Belk, who laughs. I see Ren and Paloma standing next to Prince and Claudia. I tug on Kari's hair.
"Coming?" I motion towards them, and she nods. What I wasn't expecting was a slap across the face from Claudia.
"Ouch!" I hiss, touching my cheek.
"Do you know how worried we were?!" SHe shouts at me.
"Aww, you were worried?" I smirk, and her face flushes. She lowers her eyes to the ground, then looks back up at me.
"I wasn't particularly...." She stammers. I shake my head, then turn my focus on Paloma and Ren.
"Its good to see ya'll safe," I say with relief. Paloma tilts her head at me, and Ren flashes a smile at me.
"Paloma, he didn't do anything creepy, did he?" I ask, smiling.
"Wh-what?!" Ren stutters, his face flushing. Paloma shakes her head, and I smile at the two of them.
"Dude, I'm just kidding with you!" I say nudging Ren. I grab his hand, and pull him closer so that i can hug him. I'm most likely losing blood, because i get more lightheaded by the minute! My breathing gets heavier,and I put my arms around Ren.
"THank goodness ya'll are safe! I was a bit worried, ya'know? I saw some of your moves though, dude. Pretty cool!" I lean my forehead on his shoulder, panting.
"Jethro, are you okay?" I hear Ren's voice from somewhere in the back of my mind. A new voice had filled my head, a one from 3 years ago. THAT boys cries echoed through my ears, as I loose consciousness. I slide down, and hit the cold snow with a thud.
"JETHRO?!" I hear Paloma and Ren say in alarm. A sharp pain runs through my body as I black out.

That was a sucky post, yeah, i know! -_-' I didn't know what else to do!
Some more of Jethro's past with 'THAT boy' was revealed. Who would've thunk that Hugh was actually a guy who played a part in Jethro's past.... :D
