I regretted even being alive when I saw Kasumi appear from the shadows. My ears dropped and I didn't even want to listen. I wanted to smash my head against the wall and see if I died. I really did.
"And so we meet again, eh, Lion?"
"You again?! Didn't you leave with whats-his-face?" I asked surprised. I really did think she disappeared. It would've been nice. She didn't stop grinning. That's also when I noticed her hair. She cut it. Yeah, that didn't add, "don't freaking piss me off!"
"Yeah, but you know," she started out. "I get bored easily."
"Who's she?" Ennis asked. I couldn't blame him for being curious, but if you were on this girl's list, you didn't want to be. He looked at me confusedly too. I had a feeling he had no idea who I was.
"Kasumi, and yourself?" Kasumi asked with her hand out towards him. I honestly didn't really get that gesture but whatever. Ennis smiled, probably happy to meet somebody else.
"Human, eh?" Too blunt.
"Gotta problem wi' it?" Ennis asked tightly. I could understand where he was coming from and that's when my shoulder started to bleed more just because I shifted myself a little. Great.
"None!" Kasumi held up her hands in surrender and then she turned to me. What did she want? "A lot has changed then?" I nodded but then winced when my arm shot up pain. I really wish I hadn't gotten it injured in that fight with Zar...
"Something wrong?" Her eyes widened as she smelled my blood, but it wasn't just my blood I was smelling. It was also Ennis's. Seems like he broke his fingers or something... I dunno. I can't tell the difference right now.
"Noth-" I started out but she took my arm gently and looked at it all over, examining the wounds.
It was awkward, her taking my arm like this. It was weird. I never had a girl this close before, especially if she was just working on my wounds. Nobody actually ever bothered because of my attitude.
"Hmm," Kasumi started out. "Seems like something to me. Hold on a second." She then let go of my arm, took her pack to the front of her and started to rummage through it.
"So where's...whats-his-face?" I asked as she continued to rummage through her bag but then found her bandages.
"Somewhere. Stupid falling rocks," Kasumi told me before she started to wrap up my arm. Then Ennis got curious.
"Who's 'whats-his-face?'" Ennis asked.
"Tamotsu. My friend. He's human, too, if that makes any difference," Kasumi said as she continued to wrap up my arm, I feeling her arm touching me from time to time. It was actually kind of... nice. Weird how I was thinking this.
"Ah. So m' no' th' only one? Neat." Ennis said but passed off a cough from a cry of pain. Like I said. Obvious.
Kasumi quietly and calmly finished up my bandages and went over to Ennis, figuring what to do with his broken hand and fingers. I just sat there, being useless. But Kasumi... no other halfer had really ever been this nice to me, I guess.
And that's when another smell came into my senses and it came into Kasumi's too because she recognized it. I didn't really know the smell but I could tell it was tiger. White tiger.
"Ariel?" Kasumi exclaimed, completely surprised that this girl was even there. She was probably one of the oldest members of this whole group, but I never saw her before.
I just leaned on the rock and relaxed, hoping that I wouldn't have to talk at all. Ennis came by my side and sat beside me.
"'ho's she?" Ennis asked me and I shrugged.
"No idea, actually," I told him simply and tried to relax.

"Abby's here, I managed to stop a rock from falling on her--she went looking for people. I guess we've got to wait for her to get back," Pierce told me and I looked at Pierce and nodded.
That's when I heard clambering coming down the hallway ahead of me and I saw Abby and Jethro. This should be interesting...
"How are you?" Abby asked Pierce a little worriedly and I could tell that she liked him, I think. But I couldn't be too sure about that.
"I'm fine Abby, don't worry," Pierce told her with a reassuring smile and I could smell that the blood was slowly stopping in his shoulder.
At least I had put enough pressure on it with the bandages. Abby then looked at me and that's when I smelled her blood, which was really different compared to cow blood. Completely different smell indeed.
"Thank you," Abby told me and I nodded. I didn't mind helping people.
"It was no problem," I told her and that's when she leaned against the opposite wall and closed her eyes. Pierce was letting some fear off of him.
"Are you okay, Abby?" Pierce asked and she gave a small smile. So I wasn't the only one that noticed.
"Yeah...I'm fine," Abby yawned but I could smell her blood on the walls and coming from her head. A head injury? That could be really dangerous...
I stood up and walked over to Abby with the bandage roll in my hand and sat beside her.
"Hey, Abby?" I asked her and she opened up her eyes and looked at me.
"Yeah?" She asked quietly and I showed her the bandage roll.
"Mind if I stop the bleeding?" I asked and she looked at me with wide eyes.

Continue? I hope that was okay :D
