I listened as Jake introduced himself and slunk back to his place. He looked as happy and cheerful as ever, didn't he?
"Hey, Tamotsu," I said quietly so as not to disrupt the next speaker, "Let's pay our pal, Jake, a visit, shall we?"
My friend simply rolled his eyes and smiled, but I knew he would follow me.
So I made my way over to the lion halfer and bopped his on the head before sitting beside him. Tamotsu sat on my other side.
"What's new, cowardly lion?" I asked with a grin.
He glared at me before growling in reply, "What do you want?"
I mock-pouted, "I can't just say hello to a friend?"
He rolled his eyes at me and gave an exasperated sigh.
