~Jake
I was glad that goddess didn’t call on me, but I knew that look. It said, “We’ll talk later.” That’s a total ‘yay’ moment, isn’t it? I just ignored them and followed Moon’s sister up into Harmony. It was really hard to believe that it was actually there, right in front of my eyes.
It was way too damn happy.
Seeing all the happy people… They all knew what we’ve been through. But have they really been out there lately? Probably not. So I just headed to the town. Seemed the best place to find people that I might need to know in the future and hell, why not get some new clothes? New place, new clothes? Besides, sooner or later, I would head up into those mountains…
Heading into town, I wondered if Angel had survived… when I had killed my parents and almost killed her. Yeah, she mostly hated me. I didn’t care. Not really. And if I did, well, I have no idea where the hell it was hidden in the back of my mind. I looked around the shops, seeing if there was anything that I really liked. Not really. Some of the stuff was uninteresting. I could see why the lion halfers stayed up in the mountains and didn’t interact with the others down here.
Not realizing I did, I bumped into a cow halfer.
"Kee-rist, man, back off! Watch where the hell you're going!" He said and that’s when I automatically retorted back. It was common with Pierce. And then he flipped me off. Well, he’s a Prince Charming isn’t it?
"Gee, a little edgy for someone who's just made it to Harmony, aren't we?" I retorted back and Pierce hesitated for a second or two and then that stupid grin appeared on his face and I really wanted to punch that face of his to wipe the grin off. Didn’t help how Kasumi had talked to me earlier either…
"Haha, fancy meeting you here, stranger." He bowed stupidly and met my eyes again. Now I wanted to kick him.
“What, bowing stupidly is one of your attributes or is it just you trying to hide something?” I blankly said and he just chuckled and slapped me on the shoulder, slung his arm over me, and we both started to walk back into the crowd of halfers. He broke down quietly, which is hard for men, in my own opinion.
“Let’s just say I still want to kill that damn goddess, even though she would kill me,” Pierce hissed and I didn’t really know cows could get mad. Never seen one get mad, actually.
“She took away my brother and then took away that friend of his. So what? I don’t see why they didn’t get to come to Harmony. Kai’s an octopus halfer and so what if he was tested on, if he was originally human? The big lug, Ennis, he just hung out with Kai because it seemed the best for him… I just don’t see why she had to make them go away… my best friends…” He said quietly and I just looked at him as we continued to walk for some reason.
“I don’t understand it either, actually,” I said, realizing that fact and squinting my eyes due to the sunlight as we continued our way through the shops. “Why turn away halfers? Then again, I’m not a very lively person at all, so seeing this is different. Anyways, I don’t have a lot of friends but I understand your pain. Losing something dear or important to you is a hard loss to accept, even go through. Eventually, you find an escape in something else that is dear to you and accept it. That’s what my mother always told me, anyways, so I’m just repeating other philosophy,” I shrugged and all did Pierce was nod and we were quiet for a while until an idea came to mind.
“What about that girl anyways? The hawk… was it?”
“Golden Eagle,” Pierce straightened up at the mention of her and I smirked.
“That’s your inspiration. Anyways, how knows? You mind find them later on in life, if you leave Harmony, that is. They’ll probably survive,” I told him and he just nodded until an old scent came into my senses. Angel was… here?
I covered my mouth and stopped in my tracks, which made Pierce look at me weirdly until we came upon the end of the sidewalk and there she stood, her brown hair, golden eyes, golden tank top and necklace that I made her years ago, and her black jeans and black flip flops. Her eyes widened and I just stared at her.
“Angel…?” I said quietly and it was hard to catch her as she jumped into my arms and wrapped her legs around my chest and hugged me, which I couldn’t breathe from. “Can’t… breathe, Angel,” I coughed and she let go of me, being shorter by at least three to four inches and then looked at Pierce and held out her hand.
“I’m Angel, Clementine’s sister,” and then I face-palmed. She was so used to using my actual name.
“It’s Jake now, Angel,” I growled and she just glanced at me and stuck at her tongue and then her attention drew back to Pierce, who shook her hand after a few seconds.
“Hey I don’t bite, unlike my brother,” Angel scoffed and I rolled my eyes. She just had to be four years younger than me…
“I’ve learned that, actually,” Pierce chuckled and Angel laughed slightly.
“Well, since he left me that day for dead, after he killed our parents, I kind of wanted to see him sometime after I had forgiven him for what he’s done,” Angel said with a smile and then I rolled my eyes once Pierce looked me and I shrugged.
He could ask all the questions he wanted. I couldn’t care less.

Well, hope that was okay Chiyukichan! :DDD And yes, that is Jake's sister, but she isn't becoming another OC. She's just in Harmony.
