I looked at Andy's sad smile and though of the distraught Tie. This room did not belong to me. I looked down at the bed and though about the person who had slept here. I wonder what he was like. I shook my head. "I...I can sleep on a couch." Andy's eyes widened. "B...but I insist!" I smiled at her. "You're very kind....but I can see that if I stay in this room it will cause you and Tie lots if pain." I stretched my arms and smiled, my tail going back and forth. "Besides, I've spent my whole life sleeping in a closet on a rag. A couch is a dream." She smiled at me. "Well then....since you're so set in this I guess I'll show you the couch." She stopped at a linen closet and handed me sine blankets and a pillow. As soon as I saw the couch I started to make it up. I couldn't wait to sleep in it later! I turned around when I was done and smiled. "See, it's perfect!" They smiled back, but my stomach growled, ruining the moment. I rubbed the back of my head in embarrassment as I blushed. "I....I'm sorry. I really didn't eat today." I thought about this morning and shivered. Andy smiled. "Well it is about lunch time. What would you like?" I froze....what would...I like? Me? "You mean...I don't have to cook and I actually get to eat something I....like?" She nodded. "Of course. I have to go see what's in the kitchen though." She headed to the kitchen and I followed. This was the best day ever!!!
