There was just so much to take in. Gray...a killer? Should I be afraid of him now after what he's done to so many other half-breeds? And then Io, what a temper! Should I be afraid of her too? No, being afraid isn't going to solve anything. Like Dani, I should be trying to help Gray rather than cower away from him. Same goes for Io, she may be older and bigger than me, but she needs friends just like the rest of us do. Then I heard Sky, who also sounded a bit upset.
"Huh, fine then I'll make it quick," she almost seemed to spit out. "My house was burned by dog half breeds, they killed my brother and sister. My father I assume was killed in the fight as well. My mother took us to safety to live with humans..She soon died of having too much smoke in her lungs. The end." She sounded so cold, I'd never seen her like this. "Us? Who else was with you?" Lucy almost whispered, partially out of surprise at Sky's tone too I guess. "My brother Dusk," she answered shortly staring into the fire. I didn't want to, but I knew I had to ask the question, the one I don't like to even think about for my own reasons, "I-is he..." "Probably," Sky had cut me off and walked away. I just stood there, my front limbs beginning to quiver a little bit. I hate thinking of the words brother and dead together at all. I think Ariel caught on to my inner torture.
She walked up to me cautiously, "Asuka?" I looked up and saw her face looked worried. "Y-yes, what is it?" I asked, studdering from my trembling rather than nervousness. "This is the second time you've suddenly teared up like that, the first time when we had first met, and now. What's up?" I hadn't even noticed the tears beginning to seep over the sides of my eyes. Come to think of it, no one knew my back story. I looked around the cave. Lucy seemed to be deep in thought about something from her past and Kara looked like she was asleep. Dani was still talking quietly with Gray and Sky was in the corner trying her best to get some sleep. It had been quite a night, and although I was beginning to think of Ariel as a sister figure (I still couldn't accept just sister) now was not the best time to tell my sob story. There had been enough of that already. I looked up at her with the fake smile I had perfected since Alex left 4 years ago, "I'm fine, but thanks." I guess she bought it, "Alright, well try to get some sleep kay?" I just nodded and trotted to a clear spot on the cave floor knowing good and well I probably wouldn't get back to sleep after all of the excitement tonight.

It just seemed like everyone else was doing back stories, so I had to do something different! Also I need to stall to come up with more details on Asuka's story! I hope I'm still getting everyone's characters right!
