First of all, I just wanted to tell ya'll that my hamster, Mei-Lin, died on Thursday. I had gone upstairs to change out of my band clothes and thought I saw spider's web on her bedding. I opened the cage door and saw that it was her, lying belly-up. It was soooooooo sad! I was in tears. So, R.I.P. Mei-Lin, you were my first hamster and you lived a really long life. :)

Anyways, Friday after school, my mum and I went to Best Buy, and its right next to Petsmart. I ended up getting another Chinese Dwarf Hamster!!! :) THey are the sweetest things! I love them! I was gonig to get a fancy Russian Dwarf hamster, but I heard they were the devil's spawn, so I didn't.

My new hamster's name is Dinkle Relevé! Dinkles are the brand of Marching Band shoes we wear, while Relevé is the brand of shoes my big sis uses for color guard. Shows how much of a band nerd I am, huh? Also, a relevé is a ballet move, and we ALL know how much I love to do ballet.

Anyways, I wanted to tell ya'll about the hamsters!!!!
