Us - A Day in a Dream

I finally wrote the story yesterday. Then typed it and are now putting it up! The story Features myself, Grimmjow, and Sackboy. I hope it's pretty good. I didn't rush in writing this but I think my ending could've been better. That's okay though. So whoever reads, I hope you enjoy! and here it s...finally!

The first hollow was pretty big, but it didn’t give much power to Grimmjow. The second one was smaller but had a lot more of what he wanted. More hollows kept coming. It seemed like they would never end. This many of them proved too much for the espada, despite the power difference. Though he didn’t want to admit it, Grimmjow needed help. When help is needed, that’s when we come in.

“Hey Grimmjow! We’re here!”
“It’s about damn time! What took so long!?!”
“The creations in the pop-it weren’t functioning right so we had to fix them.”
“Alright I forgive you! But just this once! Where is Sackboy? We need something to wipe out multiple enemies right now!”
“Have no fear, the Sackboy is here!”

As I drew out my sword, Sackboy emerged with it at the tip of the blade. In his tiny hand he held what looked like a boomerang. He waved to Grimmjow, jumped on his shoulder, and threw the item like there was no tomorrow. I swung at a couple of hollows before the weapon could get to some. The boomerang, being so small, did damage like if it were a mini machine gun. No hollow was safe from it’s destruction. As it landed back in Sackboy’s hand, he pulled on Grimmjow’s ear and jumped up and down at his success.

“Ow! You little hunk of sack! That hurt!……Oh, don‘t point and laugh at me! Err!”

When there were no more hollows left, we started walking back to my home. I couldn’t help but look at Grimmjow, even though he kind of found it annoying. When he finally took a second look at me he finally asked what was wrong. At first, I didn’t say anything, but then when his expression changed, I decided to answer.

“Well……You have a cut on your arm. Uh…are you okay?”
“Yeah, I’m fine. Was that the reason why you were staring at me the entire time!?! I would’ve been happy if you said you were admiring me or adoring me! No. It had to be a stupid question!”

Not liking his tone, Sackboy pulled out a rock the size of his head and threw it at Grimmjow’s eye. Grimmjow was about to grab him to probably throw him, (Though it never works cause Sackboy pulls out a parachute to land safely) but he noticed me run off. He gave chase and caught up to me fast. With a single pull of my hand, I was in his arms. He lifted my chin up roughly, only to notice me crying.

“Hey! Enough crying! I’m………sorry. I’m fine I’m just pissed cause a damn hollow actually cut me. *sigh* I didn’t mean to take it out on you……I’m sorry.”
“………”

Sackboy, who was still on Grimmjow’s shoulder, now pulled out a cardboard heart and some paper flowers. He handed them to Grimmjow. He then got out a suit and violin and urged the espada to go on. With the heart and flowers in hand, and Sackboy playing some music, Grimmjow handed me the items nicely and gave me a hug.

“Thank you Grimmjow.”
“Yeah……uh, so…We are probably only ten steps away from your house so…we should go.”
“Did you make this stuff?”
“While you were sleeping, yes.”
“…I love you Grimmjow. I really do.”
“And I -”

As he was about to speak, a hollow came from behind and stabbed me. I went down, but softly, as Grimmjow placed me on the grass. He hissed at the hollow and proceeded in killing it. More hollows appeared the more he got rid of them. Sackboy pinched Grimmjow’s cheek while pulling out what appeared to be a wind-up toy. He winded it up, dropped it to the ground and watched as it made it’s way to the enemies around it. The toy let out small bombs that made huge explosions and, oddly enough, fireworks. Grimmjow, noticing the hollows get distracted by the fireworks and explosions, took the time to attack. He slashed and stabbed at all of them all while being annoyed by Sackboy’s clapping and cymbal crashing. (which no one knows when he pulled those out) After several more hollows came, Grimmjow found himself getting more angry than what he already was. Not only were there so many of these low leveled burdens, annoyance itself was on his shoulder driving him crazy. It wasn’t till he noticed the hollows acting funny to figure out that the cymbals being crashed were actually disrupting them. Grimmjow stood in aw. For being a huge nuisance he sure was handy. He couldn’t help but feel a little bad that he wanted to throw him earlier.

“I never expected something like that to come from you. You amaze me in weird ways, you know that. Ah man, I guess having you around isn’t that bad.”

Upon hearing his words, Sackboy put a band-aid on Grimmjow’s cheek and rubbed it caringly. They both turned to look at me, but I was nowhere to be found.

“Uh-oh. Where the hell did she go?”
