Lets be honest here folks, this place is dieing.
The last update that anyway did (besides my person at least) was late in 2o11, and its already the second month of 2o12. We need a plan folks, on how to get people to remember that this is here.
I'm a little sad about this, because I enjoy this place. Its got alot of good artists backing Her and its a right fine idea. TheOtaku doesn't have well establish formal way of asking, or giving a critique. I am aware that there are alot of good folks who give them out anyway, but its a little unnerving for a regular Joe to do so when you're not to sure how someone will react to it.
Anyway I digress,
We need more action here! Time to hike up your coloured socks and get to work. Please post here as often as you can, and give out as many critques as you possibly can.
In other news, if anyone in intrested in doing some art tutorials let me know; the entire section is looking alittle sparce as it is.
Also if anyone has any swell ideas about improving publicity around here LET ME KNOW. I'm right out ideas (not that I had any to begin with) and if you have any I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER.
Or maybe I just like hearing from all of you.

At last I have gotten around to polishing thr floors and sweeping under the rug. The introduction has been updated to include ONLY the members who were members on the old Site, and currently subscribed to CU. Fall into that category and don't see your name? Drop me a line somewhere and I'll get around to fixing that.
The guest posters is also updated to only include those said members I mentioned before. So again if you don't see your name on the guest posters list (aka if this WORLD doesn't show up under 'guest posts in your backroom) drop me a line!
Also I also I am restarting over who are the gallery moderators since we only have myself, Allic Elric, and AnnaKanda here at this point. So if you fancy yourself as someone who wants to try out being a mod let me know and we'll talk on it! And if you at one point a mod RESIGN UP WITH ME. Thats important!
Here something important that you all should remember; LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU CHANGE YOUR USERNAME. Thats is VERY important! I cannot contact you at any point if I do not know your username, and theOTAKU doesn't contact anyone when one does change their username so I am relying on YOU to let me know.

Hey all,
To make sure I have everything nice and clean-ish I'm going to go over a few things before this WORLD is officaly opened. We are going to stick with design number three (aka the one thats up now) because I can't change the designs around because our lovely Founder ran away off on a quest to slay a dragon or something and didn't leave me with any of the OTHER designs.
Or maybe it was a rather large snake and not a dragon at all?
Anyway- if anyone feels awesome and brave and wants to try their hand at winging a new design for the CU WORLD than fly at 'er. As long as everyone here agree'd I don't think the Founder will mind.
Or maybe this is just some sort of backwards revenge of mine?
Anyway- the old WORLD, Critiquers United will no longer be open for posting on by you the members. Yes, even though you all may have the power to guest post on the WORLD please don't- I can't change that fact right now.
Thank you all of the members who have re-joined us and remained with us through the switch. Please don't forget this place and feel free to use and abuse what we have to offer.
