Cress and Dasha sped down the hallway and slammed the door open to their parents room. "I'm sorry, I did all I could." The doctor told them. Their parents lay cold and as if frozen in time. A war with the king and queen of the light kingdom had broken out and a spy had been sent to poison the king and queen of the Night kingdom. And It worked, the two stood side by side Dasha became filled with rage. "I WILL AVENGE THEM!" She screamed and walked out. Cress watched her dazed. "What is she up too?. . ." Later that night she walked into Cress's room with some armor and threw it at him. "Put it on we are going to teach these day dwellers not to mess with the night." Cress looked at her with a shocked expression. "Your not serious are you!?" He asked. "Oh I am very serious Cress, I am not going to let them go unpunished!" Dasha yelled at him. He though for a moment then agreed with her. He put the armor on and it shimmered with the light of moon reflecting from the window. With the sound of clanging metal they stepped outside holding swords, their eyes reflected the moon light showing furry against the enemy. "You will pay for the deed you have done!" Dasha screamed at the sky. The shadows came from the ground turning into solid figures, the armor they wore was black as night but reflected the moonlight. They charged at the army from the opposing side. -Part one end-
