Injured bunny

My klutzness knows no bounds. I sliced my left index finger open a good shot yesterday on broken glass.

The story goes as such, I opened the dishwasher to unload the clean and load up the dirty dishes. Nothing out of the ordinary. I noticed one of my favorites was missing a gem in it. (Handle looked like a ring) gently patting the inside of the dishwasher I tried to find the gem. A hidden piece of glass was lodged in between the plastic pieces I slid my finger under and....yeah I got a nice little slice out of it.

What made it bad was I've been taking headache medication with aspirin in it so my bloods a bit thinner than usual. (I've had a headache for a straight week now) as you can guess things got messy. -sighs- worst part is it was a scary lesson to learn about my hemophobia. It's not gotten any better. To be honest I was as white as a sheet.

Anyway, after calming down and stopping the bleeding I'm ok. A little sore, but ok. No stitches required thank god. But yeah, that was my day yesterday, at least I live up to my name right? ^^;;

Bunny takes a stand

First I'd like to say I'm sorry for not being around much as of late. It's been a very stressful time for me. So much so that....I made a very big decision. As of today, I am no longer employed. Today was my last day working in the nursing home. To be honest, it's worse now than it was before I got hurt. There's never any supplies, no one helps you unless you friggin beg like a dog, they schedule you for doubles when you can't work them, I haven't gotten a yearly pay raise since I started working, New people coming in get paid more than me, negligence is ignored because of short staffing, religious bigotry, flat out resident on employee abuse....I could go on for days. I really could. -takes deep breath and sharply exhales-

Point is, my job was flat out ridiculous. I was crying in the bathroom because I was so overwhelmed one night. I didn't know what to do. I gathered up my courage, called Okami about it after drying my tears and we decided I should leave.

Now, I'm going back to school and 're entering the nursing program. I'll be going in for my nurse practitioner as my final goal. It will be a hard road, but if I fail I have to go back there....so I'm holding my head high and setting my gaze forward. Nothing is going to stop me from reaching my new goal.

It's Usagi here! I know it's been awhile, but I'm back and trying to get people to engage in more activity here. So, I have this idea brewing in my head. I'm going to make a challenge ~~(soon hopefully)~~ and I just wanna get some hype built up for it. It's not up yet mind you, but I want you to think deeply about yourselves. What kind of person are you really? What quirks do you have? What are your interests? What are your hobbies? What are your regular play styles in games? Your fashion? Referred hairstyle? In this challenge, I want to see the you inside you. I want to see who you are on the outside and inside. But, I want it a step further. I want you to draw your truest selves as rpg characters.

Now take a step deeper than that, I want to know why you're a mage or paladin. Tell me how it fits into your life. Tell me how it reflects your soul. If there isn't a known character class that suits you, by all means create one! Just explain it to me please. I'm working on my character me as we speak. I plan on using her/me as an example to further explain what I want from everyone. I love memes because you learn so much about people with them but now, I want to learn more about you wonderful people through creativity. Through your own words and artistic ability (traditional or digital I'm not picky). Hell, if you want to one up me give me your character name and title. This is your homework tonight and for the next couple days until I can unveil my example. Sound exciting? I hope so
