Hey guys....I'm just letting you know that for the first week of August I will be at the beach....which normally would be great. I love the beach ^^. But its a week long trip with my husband's cousin (name not included). She is...how shall I put it...a lady of questionable reputation (I use the word lady loosely). She and I don't exactly get along very well. Her and my husband don't exactly get along very well either...=/ so it's going to be an interesting trip to say the least.
I'm kinda worried about how this will turn out because her favorite thing to do is criticize me on EVERYTHING I do -_-. Honestly she could use a little criticism herself...(not that she would listen...) She's also very closed minded and against the choice of religion my husband and I have made. (Not getting into that on here. Lost a couple of friends and family members over it) I would just not go but if I didn't go my husband wouldn't either and the cousin would get her way.
Another thing that worries me is my birthday is in the beginning of the trip and I DO NOT want her to find out...Knowing her she'd spike my drink and laugh when I get drunk -_- (I'm not a drinker) or she'll just make my birthday miserable because I don't want to do her usual birthday activities (involves strip clubs, drinking, "toying" with various men and other what nots)
Once we get there my husband and I are just going to go off on our own and try to avoid her as much as possible. Next year we won't go on vacation with her. This year was unavoidable =/ (trip was planned a long time ago) So yeah that's about it. Sorry for ranting so much ^^;;
I must say I agree with this ^^ please repost if you do as well.
"Okay, so, i've started to notice something. TheO has become very....shall I say...Seclusive. Yeah. Like, people totally ignore others who branch out and attempt to make friends or strike a conversation or even just say hello. It's not just for the newbies who have yet to make any friends here, either. Seclusion happens to everyone. Including myself, for example. For instance, just this past month. I messaged a member that I KNOW is on every single day, and I have yet to hear even a response back saying "I don't think we'd really get along" or something like that. I know that this member (nameless for reasons) saw my message and either discarded it without even giving me a chance, or read it and just decided to ignore me like I was some sort of weird glob on the floor that nobody wants to touch.
Here's what I suggest: Give everyone a chance! Whenever somebody either approaches me or responded to my message, it made me feel so happy. I'm serious.
theOtaku should have some sort of buddy system, y'know? Or some sort of pen-pal thing that everyone that is active has to sign up for. I'm just sayin'. A surefire way for members to see the truth: every member here is amazing. So many members have so many things in common with each other, but just don't see it because they never give anybody the time of day.
I, for one, have made many friends here by getting to know them. Messaging everyone, even if I don't think i'll like them. 100% of the time, i'm wrong. Also, for the record, I love getting messages from members I don't know. It's a chance for me to make a new friend.

Hey guys sorry I haven't been on at all today. I've been pretty busy ^^;; Got up, went to the market, had breakfast, shower, then we were off to the mall and a ton of other stuff. On the plus side we got a new game (sonic generations), my husband has a new job!, and we have a vacation planned with a couple friends to go to the beach for 5 days starting on my bday so I'm pretty happy ^^. I'll be 22 soon =D Not that you can tell by how I'm acting xD lol I'm a child I know. Anyway that's been my day lol How has everyone been?
