Soz, as you've prolly seen, my comics are short, sweet, and simple.
NOT THIS TIME BITCH!
Whoa snap. I'm so in the hood today.
So anyway, I had this totally SICK idea about this girl, who's father is a magician (the cheapy kind- not the Harry Potter poofy poof Dumbly dooor magician) and she's playing with one of his card decks. She doesn't know that it's *gulp* enchanted... (UBER NERD!) and while she's shuffling, the Joker, not the Batman one, the deck of cards one, comes out of the deck. And, right behind him, are the suits: Clubs, Hearts, Spades, and Diamonds. Actually, being the lame-o I am, I gave them names: Charles, because I always thought Clubs was the smarticle one, Hannah, because I never thought Hearts would be a girly-girl, Samuel, because that sounds cool and it suited (ZOMG A PUN!) what I thought he looked like, and Diana. (Pronounced Dee-ah-na, not Die-an-a. I'm weird like that. I guess I should change it to Deanna. I'm typing this down as I think.
So ANYWHO! The Joker tells the girl (who doesn't seem to have a name yet) about the main point of this story: the war between the suits and the faces.
The Joker, who used to work for the faces (King, Queen, Jack... and I think I'll add Ace.) was spying on the suits (who seem to have it together) when he realised that his help was more need on the side of the suits. Charles (Clubs) doesn't really trust him at first (still doesn't) Deanna (the girly-girl- 'cause diamonds are kinda girly) loves him, but still has a crush on Samuel (the dreamer and Spades.). Hannah (who is a bit of a tomboy) trusts Joker completely. She calls it her... INTUITION.
I guess I'll name the girl Johanna.
OOH! I KNOW WHAT WILL MAKE THIS EASIER... PROFILES!
Name: Johanna.
Hair: Long black and auburn hair.
Eyes: Blue.
Age: Sixteen.
Story: She's the magician's daughter who finds his enchanted cards, and when she shuffles them, the Joker, Suits, and Faces come out. While she collects her thoughts, the Joker explains to her the war of the suits and faces. Great name, right?
It started when the suits wanted to be cards of their own, even though the Ace thought he was the card of suits. They thought otherwise. The King claimed that there should be absolutely no suits, just four of each card, no difference. Being a double-agent either way, the Joker decided his assistance was needed on the side of the Suits, they kept the deck together. Now, Johanna is rather... er... smitten with the Joker, but she absorbs the story and offers her help. She had been working as a blackjack dealer at the local casino and wows the Joker, who apparently "has all the cards", with her shuffling and dealing skills. NEXT!

Hair: Blackish-green.
Eyes: Purple. (EEP!)
Age: Depends.
Story: He's been a double agent for a while, considering himself a combination of the two, a "wild card", shall we say. But when he went over to the Suits, Charles didn't exactly... trust him. Everyone else was perfectly fine with him and his decisions. Although when he introduced Johanna after her card tricks, no one really trusted him as much.
Name: Charles. (Clubs.)
Hair: Mousy brown.
Eyes: Sepia. (Also known as fancy word for brown.)
Age: What he lacks in age he makes up for in intelligence.
Story: He is such a nerd. Enough said.
Name: Deanna. (Diamonds.)
Hair: Blonde.
Eyes: Silver.
Age: As old as her spirit makes her.
Story: She's really bubbly, and is in LOVE with the dreamy, oblivious Spades. She's trusting and never stops moving.
Name: Samuel. (Spades.)
Hair: Silver. (Cool, right?)
Eyes: Black.
Age: Age is only an illusion...
