Welcome to my lair, as mentioned in the title. Here I shall share with YOU, the public, whatever I wish to share with you, whether you wish me to or NOT! Because that is the point of these worlds, to give me some space to be me! (Sorry, I had some soda while writing this.)
Anyways, I shall be sharing various points of interest such as anime recommendations, summaries and links to a few of my fanfiction on Lunaescence (I'm known there as DarkNinja246), various instances of teen angst, my secret plots to rule the world with an iron fist....ahem, well then, enjoy!

ALJ Idol

Yeah, I haven't posted in awhile. Three reasons why:

1) I can never update an online blog religiously. It's just a habit of mine. I can't just sit here and talk about my day on a webpage.

2) Practically no one really cares anyway, so why bother to update regularly?

3) I usually just post on my 'Me & Shiro-chan' world, which you should seriously read if you (like me) are a diehard Hitsugaya fangirl.

But now that I'm here, I suppose I can talk about one really exciting thing that happened to me. For instance, my school's Spanish club is hosting an ALJ Idol singing contest in order to raise money. Though they did kinda steal the idea from the middle school, it's still a great idea for a fundraiser.

Basically, you've got your three judges, the person auditioning and the person recording your audition on camera. The only difference between the real American Idol and this mediocre copy is that when people audition, the judges say nothing. The auditions are merely recorded, and then they criticize later without the singer knowing their opinions. Probably to avoid the tears, drama and all that crap.

So anyways, I tried out for it mainly because I missed out in middle school and I wanted to at least make an attempt before graduating and being forced to wonder of might have been. Needless to say, I was a nervous wreck. And the same went for my best friend Meghan (who sometimes goes by the alias Shino), though she was a bit more hysterical than I was (I'm the more mellow of the two of us).

But I managed to suck it in and perform, though I'm not confident about my performance. I sang "Everything" by M2M, which I realize now was a huge risk, considering the fact that it's meant to be a DUET song (uh oh ).

If I had a say, I'd say that my friends Marianne or Angela have a better chance at making it than I do. They're used to performing in front of other people, whereas my only audience has been either my parents while I'm singing to the radio in the car, or close family friends during karaoke parties. And even then, I didn't just grab a mic and belt out on a stage. I usually just sang from where I was. But if by some miracle I'm chosen, I'll thank the almight Powers That Be and take it from there.

Wish me luck, minna!

Me & Shiro-chan!

This is basically an advertisement for my fanfic series, Me & Shiro-chan. Generally, it's a series of reader-insert one-shots in which the reader (YOU) plays the girlfriend of the one, the only, the adorably fun-sized Toshiro Hitsugaya!

From what I gathered after posting the series on Lunaescence.com, this series is really popular. Popular enough to earn a spot on the Top Tens list (not that I'm bragging). So since people there enjoyed it, I thought I'd link it here so that other people could enjoy it.

Maybe when I'm used to this ste more, I'll post some up here. Hope some of my fellow otakus will drop me some feedback.

Detective Conan: How much is too much?

I'm starting off my world with a little rant about Detective Conan, since I've been kinda into it all day. First off, I love the storyline, the action, the suspense, drama and mystery. But seriously, 500+ EPISODES?! Geezus, what more can they show?!

I'm not trying to flame Detective Conan or anything. God forbid! I love the anime to death. All I'm trying to say is when they'll actually get to the end. On one hand, I know that finding a cure for Shinichi's predicament is a long, difficult and stressful procedure. I respect the creator for prolonging it in order to express exactly how long it'll take, while other animes kinda fast forward or skip time periods.

But on the other hand, the constant episodes of various murders and mysteries usually about people you hardly ever see again can get tedious after awhile. And while every so often, an original piece pops up, it's usually buried within the repetitive murder cases.

Again, I love intricate murder mysteries and all that, but I just wanted to state an obvious question: just exactly how LONG is Detective Conan gonna last?!
