News: Green Arrow To Have His Own Show

Though this piece of news is dated days ago, I just found it online today and I want to share it with the DC Universe fans who visit theOtaku.com on a regular basis. According to Entertainment Weekly, DC Universe super-hero character Oliver Queen/Green Arrow will be getting his own live-action T.V. series. Though a premier date has not yet been confirmed, it will not have "Smallville" actor Justin Hartley reprise the role the archery superero himself. Anyway, it will be executive produced and written by Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim, who last worked on the 2011 live-action film "Green Lantern" with "Green Arrow" comic book writer Andrew Kreisberg taking part and The CW to serve as its U.S. broadcaster.

On October 26, 2011, Marvel Comics will be releasing the Volume 3 premier issue of the comic book series "The Incredible Hulk", thus a 2nd relaunch of the series title. Although story details are unknown at the moment, the tagline for the premier, which reads "The man and the monster are one no more", sort of hints at what Marvel readers are to expect from this new volume of issues.

The premier issue itself will hit store shelves in two cover versions: one blank and one containing an image of the friendly Marvel Universe green giant himelf illustrated by legendary "Batman" comic book artist Neal Adams.
