For all you DC Comics Super-Hero fans out there, mark your calendars as July 28 will mark the release of the made-for-dvd animated film "Green Lantern: First Flight", the fifth installment in the "DC Universe Animated Original" film series, which is currently one of the most selling and best-known examples of American animated drama and action/adventure entirely intended for the adults, although this series carries the MPAA certification PG-13. In this movie, we see for the first time, an animated movie version of test pilot Hal Jordan's Green Lantern origins that does not need the involvement of any other member of the Justice League of America (or simply "Justice League" or "JLA") as part of the story's plot. Note that this is actually first DC Comics Super-Hero movie to ever have have a Green Lantern as sole protagonist, and the second film to do so will be a live action theatrical film titled "Green Lantern", planned for release on June 17, 2011.
