Greetings, DC Comics Super-Hero fans! I'm posting here to let you know that "Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths", the 7th installment of the "DC Universe Original Animated Movies" direct-to-video film series, will be released on Feb. 23, 2010. Note that this will be the 2nd "Justice League of America" movie ever officallly released with the first one being "Justice League: The New Frontier" (2008), another film in the "DC Universe Original Animated Movies" series. However, neither of the films are linked in continuity terms.
In this movie, the Justice Leaguers meet the evil Lex Luthor's alternate universe counterpart, who happens to be a good guy needing their help in saving his Earth from the Crime Syndicate, whose members are his universe's counterparts of the Justice Leaguers themselves.
Although this movie is inspired by "Justice League of America" Vol. 1 Issues 29-30 (released in Aug-Sept. of 1964) and the 1999 Grant Morrison-authored graphic novel "JLA: Earth 2", it's not to be confused with either of them. Also, this is not be confused with any of the following:
-1) the "The World's Greatest Super Friends" (1979) episode "Universe of Evil" where Superman encounters an alternate universe whose supervillains (known as Super Enemies") counterpart the Justice Leaguers
-2) the two-part "Justice League" (2001) episode "A Better World" where the Justice Leaguers meet the Justice Lords, evil Supervillianous counterparts of another universe within the continuity of "Batman: The Aniamted Series" (1992)
-3)"Batman: The Brave and the Bold" (2008) episodes "Deep Cover for Batman" and "Game Over for Owlman", which both formed a two-parter where Batman and his friends (refered together as the "brave and the bold") battle the Injustice Syndicate, which Owlman (an evil counterpart of Batman) leads in this series
