Earlier this week, I posted about the screen test for the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man for the upcoming reboot of the live-action "Spider-Man" film series. Today, PEOPLE.com has reported that Sony's Columbia Pictures has finally elected an actor for the protagonal role, and the role goes to Andrew Garfield, one of the actors in cast of "The Social Network" (set for release on Oct. 1). Some of you may know the actor himself for his role of Frank in a two-parter of 2005's "Doctor Who" (consisting of episodes "Daleks in Manhattan" and "Evolution of The Daleks").
