In this issue, Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross (now Red Hulk) joins the Avengers. Anyway, the variants are as follows:

• cover variant by Edward James "Ed" McGuinness Jr.
• a blank cover variant (only showing series title, issue number, and publisher's logo)
• a gatefold cover variant by Marko Djurdjevic, depicting a whole variety of Marvel Comics characters
• a cover variant featuring the original Spider-Woman wearing a Tron suit (note that this cover variant was done as part of the effort to promote the upcoming Walt Disney Pictures movie "Tron: Legacy")
