With the demise of Johnny Storm (a.k.a. Human Torhc II), the Fantastic Four years of the mainstream Marvel Universe are now over, but don't be too sad Marvel Comics fans because the adventures of Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Sue Storm-Richards (Invisible Woman), and Ben Grimm (The Thing) will still continue on, but with a replacement for Johnny (it's Spider-Man) and a new team name: Future Foundation. The Future Foundation era will begin in the first issue of "FF" (it's actually just completely called "FF", not "Fantastic Four"), which is scheduled for release on March 23, 2011.
Make sure to visit your nearby comic book shop on March 23 as comic shops will be giving out free copies of the exclusive limited edition Marko Djurdjevic-llustrated cover print of "FF" No. 1. Also, here are the cover variants of the issue itself to be on-sale on that day below:
- Blank Cover Variant (showing just the series' title, issue number, and publisher's logo)
- Classic variant by Stan Goldberg
- Marko Djurdjevic's Character Cover Variant
- Variant by Steve Epting
- Fantastic Four 50th Anniversary Cover Variant
Make sure to check out Marvel.com to see the new look of the fictional superhero group.
