As this year is the year of Spider-Man's 50th anniversary, June will mark the launch of a five-issue comic book miniseries that's bound to appeal to both fans of Mainstream Marvel Universe stories and fans of Ultimate Comics (formerly known as "Ultimate Marvel"). This minsieries, titled "Spider-Men", will feature an adventure where the mainstream Marvel Universe's Peter Parker (the Amazing Spider-Man) gets sent into Earth-1610 (better known as the "Ultimate Comics Universe" and "Ultimate Marvel Universe") and meets for the first time Miles Morales (the current Ultimate Spider-Man), the successor of his dead Earth-1610 counterpart (the original Ultimate Spider-Man).
Ya' know, I've been waiting for months to hear if this team-up story would see the light of the day, and at first, I thought the series will include Flash Thompson and Kaine, and various other web-slingers in the story focus, given the title. But here's guessing that Miles will end up unkowingly learning a lot of what the two Peter Parkers have in common, even though he never got to communicate with his universe's Peter Parker when he kicked the bucket.
