I was standing there for the next song or two. Some people gave me glances and smiles but nobody came up and talked to me.
Finally the song changed to a slow song and i looked around. Now was my time to ask somebody to dance. I glanced at Chip but he had a "girlfriend." So mean.
Then i caught Seraphi coming out of the bathroom. I ran up to him and said "May i have this dance?" He smiled and said yes. We moved to the dance floor. I felt really self consious when i was dancing with him. Did i have a stray hair? Was my dress messed up? My eye-sight seemed to be really good just then because i could see Maka and Soul argueing and was that Pawa with a candy cane in her mouth talking to Lowey? Were they looking at us!? "Have you been practicing without me." i said with a smile. Seraphi grinned. "You know it."
I laughed and we continued dancing through the whole song.
I have to admit, this dance is the best dance i've ever been too. Thats not really saying a lot though because i've only been to one before this. THAT was a disaster. Ivan said that it was a sporty get together and that we "danced like we were playing basketball. I know your probaly thinking im pretty stupid but i'd never been to one before so! Anyway that was humiliating. I went to the dance in my gym shorts and a jacket.
But this dance with Seraphi covered all that in one. Little. Song.

I walked onto the dance floor and greeted my guests. Did anyone ever tell me that Soul had a twin? I walked up to her. They, Soul and Sky, were standing side by side so that I could compare them easily. Soul. Sky. Soul. Sky.
"Oh, wow! Its like a picture!" I said. It was! Sky giggled, Maka nudged Soul and he sighed. I walked away, and towards Demetri, Ivan, and Chip.
"Hey guys. How is this for a dance?" We all sighed (this is all my thoughts. I dislike dances).
"Well, I think this is nice." I put my chin in the air, then trotted away. Then there was a girl I hadn't remembered introducing myself to.
"Hey. Have I met you?"
"No..." She looked down into her cup of punch. We looked up to see that the song had changed. From some lively beat to slow and steady.

*Oh! The song changed! It was a slow song now. I scanned the room, looking for Seraphi, or at the least Chip. I saw Seraphi come out of bathroom. I quickly walked over to him.
"May I have this dance?" I put out my hand.
"Sure." We glided out onto the dance floor.

I looked around to see only that everyone was dancing. Even Seraphi with Cece.
"Oh. Chip is calling me." Mira waved bye and I was left stranded. I felt an iron hard grip on the edge of my shoulder.
"Pawa!? Geez. You gave me a heart attack!" I turned around to see a sugar crashed Pawa. She had a candy cane stuck in her mouth, one in her pocket, and another in her coat pocket.
"Mmmm. I love candy canes!" She said, but it sounded more like 'Mmmmmmmmm..... I ov khany canes!' with that candy cane hanging out of her mouth.
"Sorry about Serapee," She chuckled. "Dancing with Miss Universe. But hey, there is al-uh-WAYS the next... Uh.. Song!" She walked herself over to a chair and rubbed her head. I took all of her canes.
"Thats enough of that. I'm going outside."
It took me FOREVER to get ready. Eaither my eye shadow was off or my hair wasn't equally curled on each side. I ended up curling my front 2 bangs and letting the rest fall down in waves. I rarely put my hair down because its so long it always gets in the way. It looks good but not very comfty. My hair looked great with my purple dress and tights. When i walked out of the bathroom, Demetri and Ivan didn't recognize me. But when they did, there mouths dropped open. Now i feel all self-consious going to the dance.
When we got there, Deme and Ivan went straight for refreshments and i just stood in the doorway taking everything in. I saw Demetri and Ivan talking with...(ugg) Chip, some girl was talking on stage. I looked around for Seraphi. What was he wearing? I couldn't find him so i just stood around for a while. I didn't know what to do. I was still new to Deaths acadamy and i only knew a few people.
So i just stood around waiting for someone to ask me to dance. (Hint hint)

Mira and I walked do the dance since it was such a nice night. We walked in to be greeted by Pawa. It was nice in here. Whoever did the interior did a great job. "Its nice, huh?" Mira asked Pawa. "Oh ya. Its so surprising what two people can do in such a short amount of time." She looked over her shoulder and laughed. "Attention please!" The speakers boomed. All eyes looked towards the stage. The curtains pulled back to reveal a little, petite looking Lowey in a leaf green shirt with a darker green frilly skirt. "First of all, thank everyone for coming! Hope everyone has fun! If you need anything, ask me or Pawa." She put the mic back on the stand and went backstage. I said hellos and got something to drink. Mira stayed alongside me. "Why don't you go socialize like girls do." I pushed her away and went and talked with Ivan and Demetri.
