"Come on Veta, I asked that you never call me by my last name.", I said as I patted his shoulder. "My apologies Seraphi, old habits are hard to break!", Veta laughed. "So, are Glark and Jun home?", I said as I strolled into the kitchen to check. "No, they are out getting groceries.", Veta said as he walked behind me. "Hm, alright then. Tell Glark and Jun to call me when they get back.", I said as I rubbed the back of my head. "Do you need to aske them about the girls' party?", Veta said as he picked up a small book and handed it to me. "Glark expected this, so he wrote down his ideas.", He continued. "I also have the package for you!", Veta said with a smile as he walked away, then came back with a small brown box. "Thanks, I guess I'll speak with you later!", I said as I waved goodbye. Me and Lowey walked out and she stopped. "So, who is Veta? And this Glark and Jun person?", Lowey said with a cheery tone. "Glark is the master butler of the house, Veta and Jun are his children. They were close friends of my family. If I remember correctly, VEta is about...um, 22 now, and Jun...she's about your age I think.", I said as I smiled at Lowey. "So, lets go do what we originally planned!", I said as I let her lead the way.

He spun me around to face a large, Gothic (or is it Victorian?) mansion. It was lovely.

"Sure, I've never been to one of those places before.", I said. "But first, I want to show you something.", I said as I grabbed her hand and went out the door. "Wait Seraphi, where are we going?", she said while laughing. "Hold on, we're almost there!", I said as I turned a corner then another, until we reached a large victorian style gate. I opened the gate and continued inward. "Wait Seraphi, this is some ones' home, we're trespassing!", Lowey said as I spun her around, then stopped her. "Here, take a look!", I laughed as she looked up to see a large gothic/victorian-style mansion. "Whoa...", was all she could get out as she turned to me. "Who lives here?", she asked as I laughed a bit more. "You mean USED to live here!", I said as I pointed to a sign above the door. "This is my home, where I used to live.",I said as turned to look at Lowey. "But I thought you didn't have a house?", Lowey said as she stared at it. "I don't have a house. To many memories in here to live here. I rebuilt this place after the fire, in memory of everyone who died here, as well as Umbra and Lunas' parents.", I said as I layed some flowers on the doorstep.

I heard everything. Every word, syllable, sentence, and letter. I had to say he really outdid himself. Did he and Pawa (or would it be Pawa and him?) take put-down lessons together? Anyways, I most likely will not be going somewhere cold and mountainous with my aunt. I sneaked back to my room and told Pawa everything. We had a silent celebration, then came out.
"I'm not going then?" I said quietly, trying really hard to not point and laugh.
"N-no. Yo-you're not. Wh-why don't y-you unpac-ck your things. I'll b-be ou-outside." He said all depressed. He rubbed his head and went outside. Wow. I haven't seen anyone that depressed in forever. I looked over at Seraphi.
"THANK YOU SO MUCH!" I ran up to him and hugged him. "In result of this, why don't I treat you to some karaoke?" I laughed.
"Um, I could try to.", I said as we walked down the street. "Thanks!", Lowey said smiling. "I've got to figure out how to talk with him though...with out him hating me more...", I said as I took another bite of the hot dog. "Are you scared of my dad?", Lowey said. "Hm, not really. Is that what Umbra said? I'm not scared of him, it's just that since I don't have parents, I don't know how to really interact with them.", I said as I tried to figure out how to speak with him.
After a bit of walking, we came to Lowey's home. She climbed in through her window and I went to the door. "Okay, this is it.", I laughed in a depressing manner as I knocked. The door opened slowly as the father stood there looking at me. "Oh, it you. What do you want?", he said as I starred at him. He was intimidating me and I was some what annoyed by it. "I thought I should talk to you about the Lowey and me. Hopefully to clear up some issues.", I said as he continued to stare at me. "Well?", he said as he walked back in the house and I followed. "SO, has Lowey said anything about us?", I said as the father sat. "Yeah, and I plan on sending her to her aunt.", he said. "And why is that?", I asked. "Because, I don't like you. You're poor, homeless, and you look like a failed science expirement.", the father said. He was really starting to get on my nerves, but I took a deep breath. "But if you send her away, then she won't be able to become an excellent meister. Not only that, she'll lose her friends and she'd be alone, except for Pawa.", I said. "I don't want to hear about this from someone who is a street rat.", he scoffed. "Yeah, I am a street rat, I do live on the streets from time to time, and yes, I don't know what's it's like to have an immediate family. I may have lost my entire family when I was little, but I was taken in by Dr. Stein, and now I have friends, many of whom, are my new family.", I said as I stared directly at him. "So tell me sir, do YOU want to be souly responsible for you daughters' unhappiness? Or how about her feelings about being seperated from all she's known? If you do this, then she would feel alone, abandoned by her own father. And how about her mother, your wife? How would she feel about this? You, her husband, her daughters' father, sending Lowey far away from her?", I said as the father sank in his chair a bit.
