Movie Guide

[Scene 1: Opening Fight]
We see two people having a battle (Rebi Ra and Genichirou Izayoi). They both jump onto some sort of building. Rebi Ra holds his sword up in the air. Lightning hits the sword and the ground opens up, revealing something glowing orange, such as lava underground. Rebi Ra states that he is the demon's chosen one. Genichirou is thrown to the edge of the building with a blast of power from Rebi Ra's sword and hangs, only to jump back up when that part of the building falls to the ground. The battle continues, Genichirou's wooden sword is knocked away, and falls down into an opening in the ground. The fight goes on until Rah kills Genichirou. Rebi Ra looks to the sky and tells his lord to wait 10 years, for he will have a hell for his lord to claim on earth.

As the camera pulls back a voice refers to this incident as a mysterious earthquake, which destroyed the Shinjuku area of central Tokyo. It left the surrounding neighborhoods untouched. This continued to baffle the world's seismologists. Since then, unusual incidents in that area have become a common occurrence.

[Scene 2: 10 Years Later]
A plane with the president on board is shown landing on TV. You see Genichirou's son, Kyoya Izayoi, for the first time. He's watching TV and eating something. Kyoya comments on how much of a babe the president's daughter is. A women in the room tells him that it's one girl he wont be bringing any happiness too. Miss Universe presents the president with a bouquet of flowers. Kyoya screams “Don't take it!” at the TV. The bouquet of flowers raps around the president.

[Scene 3: Martial Arts Class]
Kyoya is giving a martial arts class. There is a line of kids swinging swords. It looks as if he's helping one of them.

[Scene 4: Master Rai]
We are in the same building the martial arts class was in, but it's night. Kyoya is holding a wooden sword similar to his fathers. He makes some soda cans on the floor shake without touching them, and they eventually start flying. He cuts one in half with his sword. He kicks another and it falls in front of him. A voice tells him he lacks sophistication. As he looks up he sees and old man(Master Rai) sitting on air. He attempts to attack Master Rai but he fails. Master Rai tells him to be more observant. He also tells him about Nempo, a technique that Kyoya fights with. It lets you tap your spiritual energy to use as an “almost miraculous power”. Master Rai informs Kyoya that he is far behind in his studies of Nempo when compared to his father. Kyoya hears for the first time that his father is dead. Rai tells him that he was in a battle with Rebi Ra when he died. Rebi Ra was a student of Master Rai, as was Kyoya's father (Genichirou). Master Rai goes on to say that Rebi Ra was jealous of Genichirou's skills so he sold his soul to the forces of evil to gain more power. The person who possessed him has a plan to destroy the world. Kyoya is the only one who can possibly defeat Rebi Ra. Kyoya has his doubts about what he has heard. When he attacks Master Rai again he realizes that he is only a hologram. Master Rai's body is protecting the president. The president is still alive, but can't move. Rebi Rai did this to restrict Master Rai's movements. Kyoya is offended when Master Rai doesn't think he can defeat Rebi Rai. Kyoya says he just isn't the world saving type, but he tells Master Rai to tell Rebi Rai he can come fight him any time.

[Scene 5: The President's Daughter]
Kyoya is riding his bike, and someone calls his name. He turns around only to see the president's daughter(Sayaka Rama). She asks him if he's Kyoya, and introduces herself. She wants him to help her save her father. He's still very unsure of himself, but she says she will go with him. His answer still ends up being no. Sayaka heads off to demon city alone. Kyoya rides off, pauses, and mumbles “I can't believe this” to himself.

[Scene 6: The Federation Japanese Headquarters]
The camera shows the president up against the window, still tangled up by the flowers. The stems surround the room, there aren't any pedals on the flowers anymore. The president asks Master Rai to go to Demon City and forget about him. Master Rai's only concern is to keep the president alive. He assures the president that loosing him would be much worse than keeping Ra alive, because the president is leading the world to true peace. Loosing the president would just doom the world to repeat it's past. He lets the president know that there is another who may be able to defeat Ra.

[Scene 7: Crossing the Bridge]
You see Sayaka about to cross the bridge that leads to Demon City. She starts walking across the bridge. The camera looks at the bridge from several different angles. A city appears inside the fog, and she continues to walk across the bridge. The camera zooms in and you see a city full of broken buildings.

[Scene 8: Arrival at Demon City]
Sayaka is now inside Demon City. She is walking along the sidewalk. There are broken buildings and rubble everywhere. In the shadows she sees a cat get ripped apart. As she continues walking the viewer sees that she is not alone. There is a man in the shadows. She hears a bottle drop, and then break. She starts running now, and someone continues to follow her. She stops at a food stand and asks if anyone there has seen Rebi Ra. As she is about to leave, a man eating tells her that he knows him. She tells the man she wants to see Rebi Ra, and he tells her to follow him. The camera pans to show the guys in the shadows.

[Scene 9: Trouble in Demon City]
As they are walking along she asks the man if he really knows Rebi Ra. He tells her that Rebi Ra is his little brother. As she turns around about to run in the other direction a guy with a red mo hawk drops down in front of her. There is another man with chains around his neck is standing next to the guy with the mo hawk. They surround her, she tells them to stay back or she'll hurt them. She uses her ring to zap one of them but it doesn't seem to do much. They start to rip off her clothes, but then you hear Kyoya's voice tell them to stop. You see Kyoya in the distance. They attack him, but they are no match for him. He beats them with ease. Kyoya asks the guy that led Sayaka to that place, where Rebi Ra was. He tells Kyoya he doesn't know, but he informs Kyoya that there is an old woman that sells information Kabuki theater. Kyoya thanks him and hits him in the neck, the man falls to the ground. A dark spot appears on the sidewalk and sucks the man in.

[Scene 10: Kabuki theater]
The first thing you see is a woman on a TV screen. She says “Rebi Ra?” implying that Kyoya and Sayaka asked her something about him. She wants cash before she gives out any info, so Sayaka puts a bunch of money into a tray that pops out from the wall. The woman on the screen tells them to hold on, and that she'll bring them a map. You can hear someone running.

[Scene 11: Don't Let Her Get Away!]
Kyoya slams open the door to the building and looks down in the street. The woman from the TV screen is running along trying to get away. She continues to run for a while, but then she stops in an ally. Kyoya is standing right next to her now but she doesn't see him. She counts the money, and then notices that he's standing there. She ends up telling him where some of Rebi Ra's goons hang out. Soon after she is sucked into some black spot on the wall. A huge hole in the ground opens up, and Sayaka starts to fall into it, but Kyoya reaches in and grabs her arm before she falls. A monster emerges from inside the hole. It's one of Rebi Ra's monster goons.

[Scene 12: Must Get Away!]
As they are running away from the monsters, a guy from the sewers tells them to come with him(Chibi) Since just about anything is better than being eaten by demons they decided to go into the sewer with him. Once inside the sewer they just run off with the man in the yellow bandanna.

[Scene 13: Mephisto]
A man(Later known as Mephisto) is in the middle of the road. It watches as the demon goes back into the hole it came out of.

[Scene 14: Safe in the Sewer]
Kyoya and Sayaka thank the man in the yellow bandanna for saving their life. He asks them for money in return. They explain to him that they've used all of their money. He calls Kuro, a two headed dog, down from the ceiling. Chibi tells Kyoya and Sayaka that if they don't pay up the dog will eat them. Sayaka pets the dog and it calms down. Sayaka thinks the dog is unusual. Chibi explains that the dog has two heads because there used to be a genetics lab around there. Sayaka offers her SP laser ring to replace the bill. Chibi excepts the offer.

[Scene 15: The Demon is Back]
After having a conversation about the demon (Rebi Ra's goon) the dog starts to growl. It runs towards something in the distance. Chibi follows them and it leads him to a subway train. The demon is inside and grabs him. The man is thrown and the dog starts to attack the demon but it is struck down. Kyoya sees the dog dead on the ground while walking. Kyoya and Sayaka go into the subway train, and the car starts to move. Chibi gets up and states he will get the demon for killing his dog. Kyoya climes to the top of the train to fight the demon. He finds the demon and attacks it. His first attempt fails. Kyoya jumps to the front of the train. The demon comes out of a black spot in the front of the train. The train crashes with the demon right on the front of it. Something that appears to be the demon's arm sticking up from the crash crumbles. Kyoya is relieved briefly. The train starts to shake. The demon is lifting the train, because it is crushed under it. The demon hits a wire with it's claw and it lands on the track. Kyoya sticks his wooden sword into a mouth on the demon's stomach. The demon attempts to strangle Kyoya, but he uses Nempo to send a bolt of power through his sword. The mouth on the demon's stomach opens, and he stops trying to strangle Kyoya. Chibi throws an explosive into the mouth on the demon's stomach. The demon steps onto the track in the subway. The demon is electrocuted because of the wire that fell onto the track, it explodes soon after. Sayaka now believes that Master Rai was right, Kyoya does have some kind of special power within him.

[Scene 16: Who is this?]
Rebi Ra is seen floating over a red pentagram on the ground. He senses that someone has a great power and he wants to know who it is. His resurrection day is only 3 days away. He states he must get his affairs in order as soon as possible.

[Scene 17: Time for Bed!]
For change for the ring, Chibi gives Kyoya and Sayaka a room to sleep in. Kyoya and Sayaka are alone in their room. Sayaka apologizes for getting Kyoya into all of this. But Kyoya lets her know he decided to do this on his own. Sayaka tells Kyoya that Rebi Ra is going to call a demon void above the city again. That's when he will summon the demons to this world. Sayaka falls asleep and Kyoya goes over to his bed. He mumbles “I can't believe this” once again.

[Scene 18: Flood]
It's raining very hard. There is a shot of the street, it pans down to the sewer. The sewer starts to flood a little. The water looks unnatural, and it seems to be glowing. The water goes under Chibi's hammock bed.

[Scene 19: Wake Up]
Sayaka tells Kyoya that he fell out of bed. Kyoya didn't get any sleep that night. He was too distracted by the fact he had an attractive looking girl in bed next to him. Chibi checks up on them to see how their doing. Sayaka was very pleased with the room and said it's the nicest room she's ever been in. Kyoya asks Chibi where he can find the west gate of Shinjuku station. Chibi tells Kyoya he can take him there.

[Scene 20: West Gate]
Sayaka points out a cloud with lightning inside of it in the sky. She says it's the demon void, and it will cover the entire city tomorrow. Chibi asks to see Kyoya's sword. He steps into a puddle and it starts to glow. It looks just like the water flowed under his bed. He sinks into the water. Kyoya grabs onto his sword but is pulled in. Kyoya continues to sink, and Chibi just floats there. A demon tells Chibi he has served his purpose and to begone.

[Scene 21: Wet the Bed]
Chibi suddenly wakes up and notices he wet the bed. We see him back in the sewer as if what just happened was all a dream.

[Scene 22: Back in the Water]
After we see Chibi in bed we see Kyoya, but he's still deep under water. Something starts to block your view of Kyoya. The camera cuts and you see a demon in the water with Kyoya. The demon says it shall avenge it's comrade. Metal Freddy Kruger like claws come out of it's hands, and it multiplies itself. The demon hits Kyoya on the hand. The camera cuts to above ground. Sayaka is still looking at the puddle on the ground, and bubbles are coming out of it. Kyoya realizes he must find the real demon, because there is one demon but lots of fake duplicates of itself. Kyoya uses his Nempo and hits the real demon. The demon screams, and above ground the puddles shoot water. At this point Kyoya is tired out, and Sayaka starts to brings him back to the surface. The demon strikes her from behind. Kyoya gets ready to do some more damage. With a swing of his sword he breaks the demon apart. Kyoya and Sayaka are instantly above ground again laying in the puddles. Mephisto sees them there and he tells him they look like they need a doctor.

[Scene 23: Back at HQ]
The President and Master Rai are back at HQ. They know that Kyoya somehow made it past the demons. They say Kyoya must learn in 2 days what took his father 10 years. So they still aren't confident that Kyoya can defeat Rebi Ra.

[Scene 24: Mephisto]
Sayaka is laying down and she seems to be hurt. Mephisto says that with a little spiritual treatment she'll be fine by tomorrow. Kyoya and Mephisto discus what Rebi Ra is trying to do. Mephisto actually sort of likes the idea. When Kyoya asks Mephisto if he's a demon he says he isn't quite one, but just a man who doesn't believe. Kyoya stares at Sayaka, in a loving sort of way. As he leaves the room he tells Mephisto that he doesn't want to ignore the fact that both Sayaka and his father thought the world was worth dying for.

[Scene 25: Another Demon]
After leaving the room Mephisto was in, Kyoya walks down some stairs. A shadow is following him. Keep in mind that this isn't a person in the shadows but it seems to be a shadow period. A nail or something is thrown onto the ground in front of the shadow. It morphs into a real person. Mephisto is on the stairs and asks if she's into younger men. She tells him that he'll do. She morphs into another form. She raps her many long tentacle like arms around Mephisto. Mephisto throws a knife in the air and it lands on her shoulder. She licks her lips and Mephisto notices her spit is actually Sulfuric acid. The knife in her shoulder explodes and rips off one of her arms. He throws more exploding knives at her but she doges them. She grabs him again, and he asks her if she knows what happens when you mix water with a strong acid. He dumps a bottle of water into her mouth and her head (probably the rest of her body as well but you don't see it) explodes. Mephisto walks away. As Mephisto looks out the window you can see that the demon void has grown. Mephisto makes a reference to Pandora's box.

[Scene 26: Seriously Bad Vibes]
The first thing you see is a street sign. Kyoya walks over it (it's on the ground) and he thinks about the bad vibes he's getting. Kyoya continues walking into a foggy building. You can see the rubble piled up beside him as he walks. Rebi Rai is in the building standing right there. Kyoya gets his sword ready just in case anything happens. They talk for the first time. Rebi Ra is surprised to hear that Genichirou had a son. This also explains to Rebi Ra what the power was that he sensed. Kyoya slices Rebi Ra with his sword. Rebi Ra splits in half and bats fly out of his body. The bats chase Kyoya out of the building, you can hear Rebi Ra's laughter as Kyoya runs out.

[Scene 27: A Nice Stroll in the Park]
After Kyoya runs out of the building he encountered Rebi Ra in, he goes back into Demon City. Everything changes, he's in a park, and he's still in Demon City, but it looks as if it were a decade earlier. You hear Rebi Ra say to Kyoya that it would be easy to kill him, but that would be a waste of his abilities. He also tells Kyoya to give up because he will soon be under his control. So in the mean time Kyoya will sleep there, on a park bench, until the Resurrection Day ceremony is over.

[Scene 28: Back to Rebi Ra]
Rebi Ra is once again hovering over a pentagram. He is talking to the now dead Genichirou. He tells him that his son will become a servant of the dark forces. He tells Genichirou this in an attempt to make him even more mad at Rebi Ra.

[Scene 29: Demon Void]
You see the demon void above the city. The whole sky turns red and black. A huge lightning bolt hits the city. The camera pans down and Sayaka is walking through the city. You can see Chibi sitting on a beam of some sort. Sayaka asks him if he's alright, but he doesn't know what she's talking about. He thought the whole incident in the water was just a dream. He shows Sayaka where Kyoya went.

[Scene 30: Sayaka Enters the Park]
You see Sayaka, the camera pans down and you see Chibi standing in front of her. They are both staring at something. When the camera shows the park, there's fog everywhere, and it's very dark. You can see someone appear in the distance. It sneaks up and grabs onto Sayaka's skirt. It's a little girl, and it calls Sayaka mama. Sayaka thinks that the girl is just lost, so she tries to help. The little girl bites her hand. Sayaka stops Chibi from doing any harm to the girl, because she thinks the girl is just scared. But the girl starts shooting out purple energy at Sayaka and Chibi, so they run away from her. Sayaka and Chibi hide behind a stone wall. Chibi explains that all of the people that died in the earthquake are gathered together into a fire monster. The fire monster hates living people, and it tries to take the lives of anyone who finds it. So the little girl was a wondering soul looking for her mother. The camera does a close up on the little girl and then pans over to show Kyoya sleeping on the park bench.

[Scene 31: Back in the Past]
As it shows Kyoya on the park bench it fades back into how Kyoya sees the park. A ball bounces towards Kyoya and he catches it. The kids in the park as Kyoya to play with them.

[Scene 32: Reality Again]
The park fades back into the way it looks in the present. Kyoya is walking over to where he saw the kids, but there aren't any kids in the park. Sayaka tries to snap him out of it but the little girl shoots the purple energy at her. A huge wall of souls appears and Kyoya walks into it. Sayaka tries to go in after him but is forced back. Sayaka stands and stares at the wall, but wall starts shooting more purple energy at Sayaka. Sayaka tries talking to the wall but it doesn't help her any. Sayaka tells the wall that she'll lead the little girl to her mother. The wall finally lets Sayaka in. Sayaka is thrown by the wall, and lands right in between some spikes. The wall covers the sky in bits. It looks as if the sky has many big purple stars. The bits of the wall in the sky turn blue and fall to the earth in big blue balls. The little girl is now standing in the park, and Kyoya is safe standing in the park as well. Kyoya looks down and he is holding a skull, with a semi-transparent blue ball on the top of it. The ball vanishes, and the skull breaks into lots of tiny pieces. The little girl calls Sayaka mama once again, but this time she gives Sayaka a hug, and turns into a skeleton. Kyoya is appauled that Rebi Ra would do such a thing to the soul's of the dead.

[Scene 33: A possibility?]
We are back in the HQ. Master Rai says that his reckless plan has turned into a possibility. He seems to have more confidence in Kyoya than he did before.

[Scene 34: Preparing for Battle]
There is a shot of Demon City. Lightning is coming from the sky, and is striking in the middle of Rebi Ra's pentagram from before. Rebi Ra is standing in the middle of the pentagram. He is preparing for the demons to arrive on earth. He starts to summon the demons but Kyoya is on his way to stop Rebi Ra. Purple energy surrounds the place Rebi Ra is in a huge circle. Kyoya and Sayaka come across a big hole in the ground(this is where the energy was coming from), with something orange glowing below. Mephisto shows up and explains that it's part of a magic zone. It is a proper setting for turning the world into a hell. The camera cuts to a shot of the area Rebi Ra is in. It is a huge pentagram and lightning is striking the center, where Rebi Ra is. Mephisto tells them where they can find Rebi Ra. When Kyoya asks Mephisto why he's there he tells Kyoya he's just there to watch. Mephisto says he feels as if he's about to witness Pandora opening the box.
[Scene 35: The Battle]
When Kyoya arrives where Rebi Ra is, Rebi Ra tells him he should have stayed asleep. Sayaka is chained with energy above the pentagram so she can be sacrificed for the ceremony. Kyoya charges at Rebi Ra, but Rebi Ra's sword rises from the ground, and blasts Kyoya with a burst of energy. Kyoya gets right back up and is ready to fight. Rebi Ra tells Kyoya not to make the same mistake as his father did. Instead, Rebi Ra wants Kyoya to join him. Kyoya refuses, and Rebi Ra starts to attack him with bolts of energy from his sword. Kyoya pierces Rebi Ra with his sword. The sword breaks and Rebi Ra says that that's the limit of Nempo. Kyoya falls into a hole, similar to the one his father's sword fell into. Sayaka thinks that he died, and is upset. Rebi Ra tells her that soon all man kind will join him. Rebi Ra continues to summon the demons and the camera pans over Master Rai's face (he's still back at HQ).

[Scene 36: The Sword]
Kyoya finds himself at the bottom of the pit laying on some grass. There is a stream of running water next to him. He says Sayaka's name, and he gets up. Kyoya attempts to clime up a pile of rubble but he fails. He tries again and this time finds his father's sword at the top. Master Rai back at HQ feels whats going on. Kyoya's father (Genichirou) transferred his life force to the sword when he died to aid the one he knew would follow his path. A voice tells Kyoya to believe in the power, but he shouldn't let the power consume him.

[Scene 37: The End of Rebi Ra]
Just as Rebi Ra is about to summon the demons into this world, Kyoya shows up. Right when the demons are about to come into this world, Kyoya breaks the chains of energy and frees Sayaka. She falls, and Mephisto catches her. To finish what his father started, Kyoya uses a combination of the swords power and his own Nempo skills to shoot a big burst of energy towards Rebi Ra. Rebi Ra is blown to bits, and the demon's go away. Sayaka hugs Kyoya and the camera cuts back to HQ. The president is free again, sitting on the floor with Master Rai. The camera pans out and looks at the dark city. The camera then shows Rebi Ra's sword in the ground.

[Scene 38: It is a Good Day]
You can see Mephisto, Kyoya, Sayaka, and Chibi walking back from the city. Chibi says to Mephisto what a nice day it is, and rides off. Sayaka waves to him as he goes away. Kyoya says he's had a belly full of this place, and Mephisto tells him he will be back, and that this will happen again, and when it does he will be needed again. Mephisto remembers the end of Pandora's myth. The last thing to be released from Pandora's box of evils was hope. Mephisto walks away, and Kyoya kisses Sayaka.
