a muse is a muse
but what is the use
when the muse is running way
and every time we try
it just keeps ahead each day
the muse is a muse we know
but the muse teasing us now
so why can't we keep her
from bottling up our temper
and smacking the muse away
not to piss her off you see
but so she would be fased
and we could finish our days
with a writing or two complete
without her fleeting feet
