my thoughts will not be lead astray,
this is something i have to say
for longer then ever i kept things in
but now i can't do it now
for my feelings are but a blossom in spring
it may grow some, or it may grow big
but whether you be a friend i adore
or be mine forever more
that is a question for later on
for now we travel the path along
side by side and smile by smile
it means much to me you see
from a past of tortured history
for now i smile and pray
just for our peace each day
so my friend hear me
and see the beauty around
and for us it will come abound ^^
