a light above is falling
to brighten a dark day
the light isn't a sun,
nor a bulb of some form
it is a hope that i feel
while contemplating my heart
of the emotions i have hidden
long ago from most other girls
she is the one i won't hide from
nor will i put it down
this light was what i sought out
from nights while i was alone
but the thing that i fear
is the chance of it ending
this light is special to me
So i keep it close
and smile while we talk
all the while hoping
that we stay close ^^
