There was a time when i was lost
seeking the light i lost long ago
but while drifting around in this abyss
i found a faint glow that i didn't see
it came from a source unknown
but bit by bit it came into focus
each day growing slowly but steadily
then before i knew it
there was a brightly lit world
looking back at me while i see it
the world isn't a what you would think
but she is what my world became
not the land nor the sky
just this simple girl's smile
a hand held or two
it is a special bliss
just to feel her kiss
if only this would come to be
so for the light i see out there
come to me ^^
