Kanon ep11-12
Catching up with the Anime Club episodes I missed. Ayu and Nayuki are adorable together but I was sad that the sleepy Nayuki scene wasn't as good in the dub. Yuichi playing with Mai is amusing as always. Mai is also hot in her ball gown and even moreso while dancing. But nothing beats Jun's fabulous sparkles.
Ichigo Mashimaro ep11-12
The TV series doesn't do anything big or special for its ending, it's just cuteness as usual. But that's one of the things I like about Ichigo Mashimaro, as I might've mentioned before. It never changes, it's consistently cute and funny and doesn't try to be anything grand or dramatic.
Saki ep5
The theme this episode was maids. Okay, maybe it wasn't really a theme, but we still got to see each of the mahjong club girls (except the president, of course, since she's above such matters) in maid outfits. Yuuki, too, even though she didn't have a reason to be in one. She didn't really have a reason to show off her panties, either. She's weird that way and I think she just enjoys messing with Kyoutarou. Also, Nodoka is still hot, now with extra sparkles.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood ep05
I am loving Inoue Kikuko as Lust. Every time she speaks I'm just like, "Oh yesssss." Gluttony is also amusing as ever, though gross. And you'd think Roy would remember eventually...
Valkyria Chronicles ep4
Alicia is cute when she's embarrassed. Faldio seems to have a natural talent for embarrassing her. I think I'm going to like him. By the way, I now think of Jade whenever I see a character striking this pose.

Hatsukoi Limited ep4
Holy crap, Koyoi is adorable. I totally moe'd over her little twintails flapping up and down when she was excited. It's amusing how Koyoi's and Ayumi's relationships with their brothers are complete opposites. Koyoi has the hots for Yoshihiko, who's creeped out by this, while Yuuji is over-protective of Ayumi, much to her annoyance. Misaki + lollipops = hotness, enough said there. But the lollipops introduced yet another love triangle and I have a feeling I will soon need to start writing them down if I want to fully keep track of who likes who in this series.
I'm plenty aware of this series being borderline perverted by now, but I have to wonder if this scene was intended to look like that.
Hetalia: Axis Powers ep14-15
I'm not sure what was funnier, Germany coming out of nowhere and punching Italy in the stomach or Italy grabbing Germany's ass as he was carried back.
The Tower of Druaga: The Sword of Uruk ep8
Druaga's art style isn't all that attractive but I guess you can't go wrong with frilly butts.
Natsu no Arashi! ep2-3
I'm still rather bored with this series. It's not exactly bad, but it's not good either. If the next episode or two doesn't impress me, I think I'm going to drop it. According to Shin, it picks up at about that point.
Shugo Chara!! Doki ep81
The previews in this series can be horribly misleading. Instead of Amu and everyone going into Easter, we got Metal Gear Yoru instead, with Kiseki tagging along and mostly getting in the way. But Nana showing up out of nowhere and freaking out the other charas was funny. It looks like it's setting up to work Lulu in when stuff finally starts going down, so I'm happy about that.
Tayutama -Kiss on my Deity- ep4
This is a horrible show. I sit here watching it and I think, "This show isn't good at all. I don't care about the story or characters, the animation isn't that great, and it's all just moe fluff... And I'm enjoying it." The show knows it's all moe fluff, though, and doesn't try to do anything else so it kind of works. And note that I don't say fan service. There actually hasn't been any explicit fan service that I can recall since the initial scene where Mashiro "grew up" overnight and even that didn't actually show anything. So instead of showing the fox girl in her panties, we see her trying to pick out a pair of panties and the implication that she was not wearing any before due to her being an ancient spirit that didn't wear underwear under her kimono the last time she was awake. I suppose, in that way, it could be worse (see: Kanokon).
Kemono no Souja Erin ep8-9
I'm not sure what'll be more emotionally scarring for Erin, seeing her mother get ripped apart by Touda or living with Jone and his frequent flatulence. But I thought the emotion displayed by Erin and in the parallels linking her past experiences with her mother to her currect situation was very well done. These two episodes had a nice bitter-sweetness to them – both figuratively and literally, funnily enough – and my interest in the series rose yet again.
Chi's New Address ep17-22
Alice's normally stern and dignified front being completely shattered by a balled up piece of paper was great. She's almost like a tsundere cat, which is hilarious.
Clannad ~After Story~ ep23
Yesssss, more delicious Kyou tsundereness. And pajamas. OMG the pajamas, and then the bath scene too... Now I am even more impatient for the Kyou arc DVD episode. Also, Akio acting like a school girl and the slow motion falling wash pan were hilarious.
Ichigo Mashimaro OVA ep1-3 (Anime Club)
The OVA has the return of neko mimi Matsuri, if only for a short time. However, it's also accompanied by bunny girl Ana. And it has more of those two being cute and adorable in other ways. Nobue is right, there's something soothing about sitting and just watching Matsuri's happy face as she reads.
Kanon ep13-14 (Anime Club)
I had completely forgotten the latter part of Mai's story but bits are coming back to me now that I'm watching it again. Shin and Michi freaking out over the scene where Sayuri is lying in a puddle of her own blood after being attacked by a demon made me remember my own reaction to that and then smile because it was exactly the same.
Clannad ~After Story~ ep24
It was just a recap episode but I still had to fight back tears during the scene of Ushio collapsing in the snow. At least I got this cute shot of Fuuko sleeping under the tree right afterwards.
And now to wait for the Kyou episode. July seems entirely too far away.
