K-ON! ep2-3
Yui is the kind of girl I'd be completely annoyed by in real life, yet in anime I find stupidly cute and adorable. Which reminds me of the scene in Lucky Star where Konata explains this principle of moe to Kagami. Tsumugi, on the other hand, is just love. Gentle, fluffy, and cute love.
Shugo Chara!! Doki ep82
Back to the ? egg of the week format for this episode. Except Lulu got even less screen time than usual for such an episode, which made me sad. At least her and Nana basically going, "Well, crap..." over Amu's home run was funny. However, Rima (along with Yaya) kind of randomly appeared for a bit, so I guess that makes up for it. It seems like forever since Rima got a decent amount of attention.
Hatsukoi Limited ep5
Speedo guy was freakin' hilarious. I laughed pretty much whenever he showed up – he even had sparkles! I bet a great many Japanese girls would kill to have Meguru's "problem." Though I have to admit, her breasts were crazy huge. Like, as big as her head kinda huge, which is a bit much if you ask me. Yuu is incredibly cute (apparently she's Kei's older sister, yet she looks younger), rivaled only by Koyoi. Hiroyuki is my favorite male character thus far and I'm looking forward to what happens between him and Nao.
Tayutama -Kiss on my Deity- ep5
Tsundere Ameri was being extra jealous this episode, which was cute, but her devil wings after she got evil'd were hawt. Obviously Yuuri suspects her now so I wonder how he's going to slap her down. Also, I think this is the sort of thing that gets people into furries.
Saki ep5-6
I think it's hilarious that the size of Nodoka's breasts seems to have become a running gag. And it wasn't a pillow, but I guess a stuffed animal is close enough; I totally moe'd over Nodoka hugging her penguin plush. As usual, though, Yuuki will rape you being crazy and bouncy was the best part of the show.
Hetalia: Axis Powers ep16
Japan giving China the long pause was funny. It was just long enough to make you wonder if he was going to answer at all.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood ep6
Any episode with Armstrong is a good episode, this one being no exception. Winry was cute too. Violently cute
Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ ep3-6
Do Ein and Zwei seriously believe each other when the other stares at them and then just says, "It's nothing," when questioned about it? I'm still wondering what exactly they think about each other, but something is obviously up. And I think Zwei may have the hots for Ein.
Ein acting all cute and girly seemed totally weird and out of character, by the way. After seeing her be almost completely emotionless for so long, it was odd to see her turn them on and off in a snap. But during a few moments it looked like she was longing for a normal life again, free from Inferno. I wonder how long till she and Zwei get tired of being their puppets and massacre everyone.
Kemono no Souja Erin ep10-11
I still have no clue where the story is headed, which is both kind of interesting and a little annoying. There's lots of little bits of information that have been tossed out but nothing big and nothing that connects solidly with other bits. I get the feeling it's going to involve the government and changes in how Touda are used, and I wouldn't be surprised if there's a time skip somewhere in there. I can just see an older Erin learning the skill Soyon used to control the Touda and single-handedly throwing the Duke's army into disarray when they get too oppressive.
Nyoron Churuya-san ep6-13
Wow, Churuya actually got some smoked cheese in these episodes. And I laughed way too hard at the little Windows desktop Churuya chasing around the smoked cheese file and getting led into the recycle bin.
Tears to Tiara ep5
Needs moar pink-haired loli elf. One scene in the entire episode is not nearly enough.
Tales of the Abyss ep24-26
Finishing off another long-stalled series since ilifin, who was doing the translation for gg/ggcaust, apparently disappeared. The ending was not surprising at all, and as soon as Asch had the little flashback to being told what would happen to him I thought, "Oh, so that's how Luke will survive." But it was a decent ending anyway.
Ichigo Mashimaro encore ep1-2 (Anime Club)
Both of these episodes have some really hilarious parts that had the whole group laughing. My personal favorite was Miu doing imitations of the other girls and borrowing Matsuri's glasses, then handing her back a pair of mustache glasses instead. The scene pauses with her sitting there with them on just long enough to let the absurdity sink in before she reacts. As always, the series's timing on stuff like that is excellent.
Kanon ep15-16 (Anime Club)
Mai's story came to a close and Shiori's took focus. Shiori's is one of my favorites so I'm really looking forward to next week's episodes. Tragic stories of chronic sickness from birth always get me.
