Tears to Tiara ep6
Arawn just keeps getting more and more groupies. Llyr is nearly as cute as Riannon, only in a dojikko kind of way. Her getting completely covered in bubbles while attempting to do the laundry and freaking out Ermin was great. Octavia also looks like an interesting new villain and her calm, cool competence provided a nice contrast with the big, dumb, cowardly commander.
Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ ep7
I'm getting conflicting vibes from Ein regarding Zwei. Sometimes she's distant and acts like he isn't needed (with a hint of apprehension over being surpassed and replaced), other times she seems to actually care for him. I sense a large internal struggle coming, possibly accompanied by a mental breakdown. (Which leads to a murderous rampage where she and Zwei slaughter them all? I can only hope.) Brainwashing is always fun that way.
Chi's New Address ep23-26
Sad Chi always looks so hilariously pathetic. And hey, another of the cats from the OP made an appearance.
Valkyria Chronicles ep5
First rappigs, now porkavians... The Japanese sure love mutant pigs in their RPGs. As long as they're cute, I guess. And yays, we'll finally get to meet the rest of the militia characters from the OP/ED next episode. I can't wait to see what Alicia is freaking out over.
K-ON! ep4
Moe moe kyun~ Yui and Ritsu picturing Mio in a maid uniform was pretty awesome but the two of them doing that in unison when she was all scared and crying was absolutely hilarious. Mio's split between the bossy tsundere type and the easily frightened crybaby is a weird yet great combo. But still, I can't help but prefer Mugi's fluffy cuteness.
Hatsukoi Limited ep6
I laughed at Yuu walking in on Kei rolling around in a bath towel in the middle of her little fantasy. Also, Yuu holding her giant teddy bear was cute in itself... Anyway, the second round of tsundere action with Kei here was fun, as was Kusuda being completely shameless about looking at the waitress's panties right in front of her. His comment at the end as he pulled out the gloves was also great. And then another walk-in! I really hope we get to see more of Yuu soon, she could end up being my favorite of the girls.

Tears to Tiara ep7
Oh yeah, Octavia totally owning the dumb commander in the gladiator tournament was awesome. She doesn't seem to hold much love for the empire so it makes me wonder what part she'll play in the conflict between them and the Gael tribe. Rathty was amusing and his fight with the big orc/troll/whatever was pretty cool. A small elf with a hammer as big as he is would have a hard time not being cool. And, as usual, Arawn had some great lines when slapping the others down.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood ep7
I don't exactly have a glasses girl fetish but I have to admit, the nerdy bookworm types are kinda hawt. As such, I find Sheska cute and funny. And what made her introduction even better was that, about two seconds before I heard her muffled call for help, I remembered from the first series, "Oh yeah, she's buried under a pile of books." Even my memory has great timing. Also: poor Al, lolz.
Spice and Wolf II OAV
I totally forgot I had downloaded this... I'm loving how much more animated Horo's ears are now. That little touch adds a lot to her body language to go along with her facial expressions. And the rest of her is just as awesome as ever. And it's interesting to see her struggling with her feelings for Lawrence while knowing she'll long outlive him. I'm very much looking forward to how she deals with this in the TV series.
Hayate no Gotoku! ep21-24
It had been a while since I watched any Hayate no Gotoku, what with all the spring season shows piling up. I think I may end up dropping some to focus on other backlogged anime instead.
Anyway, here's the reference round-up for these episodes. A couple of them made me laugh so hard it hurt because I'm terribly geeky about this sort of thing. Needs moar Gundam, Michael Jackson is always funny, INDIGNATION KAMEHAMEHA, SOS Brigade, kinsoku jikou desu, NERV, keikaku doori, Haruhi head lick wut, another Shishio mummy shot, and I think this is a Hiryu Shoten Ha from Ranma ½ but I'm not sure.
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya S2 ep1
So wtf do you call this episode? It's the first new one but the new ones are just being interspersed with the old in chronological order. So is it ep1 of the new series, or ep8 of both of them together? The file name said S2 ep1 so I'm going with that for now.
A Mikuru-focused episode is about the best way I can think of to start off the new episodes. In the words of Kyon, damn, she's cute. So damn cute. Plus I'm just a fan of Goto Yuko in general. If faced with Kyon's temptation of kissing the sleeping Mikuru as a reward, I don't know that I'd be able to resist. Though that didn't stop me from laughing at his little internal struggle.
Middle school Haruhi was cute but no different in attitude, which kind of destroyed the d'awww factor. I still think she looks great with long hair and remain disappointed that we only got to see her funky hair styles in the first episode. Needs moar twintails imo.
