Emperor Ogimachi lead Katsumi and I to where Minoru Kaito meditated. He lead us to a door guarded by two soldiers. After he told them to stand down, he lead us inside the room. It was an all white room with nothing inside but a man wearing a (you guessed it) white kimono. He was sitting cross-legged and motionless. His eyes were closed as well.
< “Come, Katsumi.”> Emperor Ogimachi said. < “I will show you to Hasahe.”>
< “Katsumi!” > I protested. < “Don’t leave me alone with this guy! He freaks me out.”>
< “I have to get the sword.”> Katsumi put her hand on my shoulder. < “ Good luck.”>
Well….now I was alone with this guy… great.
I didn’t want to raise my voice again for fear of….a trap or a spell or something.
< “Hello?”> I whispered. < “My name is Bryan Nelson and I need your help.”>
Silence.
I sat in front of him and waved my hand (slowly) in front of his eyes.
Still…..more silence.
“What the heck am I supposed to do?” I said.
Suddenly, He grabbed my shoulders and I screamed. He opened his eyes…..and they where white! He didn’t have pupils!
The walls became and floor became totally black. I looked around in terror until I saw an image in the darkness. I couldn’t make it out a t first, the image soon became gigantic and clear…..
Soldiers stormed the gate, killing everyone in sight. Nobunaga followed on a horse, vowing to get is sword back!
The images vanished and the room became white again. Minoru collapsed in my arms.
I started to shake him. < “Wake up! Kaito sensei, Wake-
I froze when I heard screaming voices far off from the room…..
“Oh my god….Oda!” I whispered.
I ran out of the room and out into the courtyard. All was silent.
Katsumi and the Emperor ran to me. < “What is wrong Bryan?”> Katsumi asked. < “You look terrified.” >
I looked stared at the brillant looking hilt and scabbard she was wearing at her waist.
< “ He is coming for it Katsumi! Oda is coming here!”>
< “How do you know of this? “> Emperor Ogimachi said. < “What did Minoru Kaito tell you.? >
<“He didn’t tell me anything!!”> A yelled as I ran back to the white room. < “He showed me that Nobunaga and his army are going to attack Kyoto!” >
Emperor Ogimachi ran to Kaito and picked him up. < “Bryan….”> He said weakly.
< “ He is here!”>
< “Shhh!”> Katsumi said suddenly.
Breathlessly, we all fell silent and listened. In the distance we heard screams and the clashing of swords.
Emperor Ogimachi cursed under his breath and ran out of the room, followed by Katsumi.
I was about to go follow them, but Minoru grabbed my arm. < “I have to take you back to your home.” >
< “But what about Katsumi?”> I yelled.
< “ I had seen her future.” > He answered. < “She is going to fight Nobunaga…”>
< “And?”>
< Oda is going to claim his sword….and Katsumi’s life.”>
