Depending on the cultural peculiarities, clients identify the counselor’s help with a different level of perception (Corey, 2015). In this way, it is a direct obligation of the counselor to fit the settings of the applied approach in order to avoid possible accidental harm. In case of utter unacceptance of the client’s world outlook, the counselor should remember that long-term mental problems are the first priority (Corey, 2015). Therefore, it is strictly prohibited to provoke a conflict on the basis of personal reasons. Considering the diversity of social and cultural backgrounds of the clients, it is clear that sooner or later the multicultural counselor would partially face the major external factors that caused the critical situation. That is why psychologists recommend paying special attention to the external factors that may have caused clients’ problems (Corey, 2015). Therefore, the counselor should consider all factors that influence the patient and his or her critical situation, as well as the readiness to accept help from the unknown person. In addition to this, every consultant must be ready to apply individual methods to each client in order to alleviate possible harm. Most importantly, the counselor should not use an approach that dictates a particular way of understanding and viewing the external reality.

Whether morality is relative or universal is one of the most popular and difficult questions ever. Obviously, there will always be as many opinions as people. Some people may consider that morality is relative, since what is good for one person may not seem to be good for another one. Other people may believe that morality is universal since there is or at least should be a strict division between good and bad, right and wrong, moral and immoral, etc. As one can see, it is rather hard to define morality precisely.

As for me, I believe that, ideally, morality should be universal. In this case, there would be more good people, better relationships, and less societal problems as well as misunderstandings. Of course, it would be much easier if people considered the same things good or bad. However, I understand that, in fact, morality is not universal but relative. To some extent, this is a problem of humanity. Most people are sure that they are moral and do everything in the best possible way. Many consider that it is normal to betray, lie, steal, drink a lot of alcohol, etc.

The main reason why morality is relative is the fact that it is people who create the moral norms (Williams, 2012). Besides, it is well-known that humans tend to entertain and break rules. As a result, one can see that people created moral norms, but further generations constantly violate the existing rules. One of the main proofs of the fact that morality is relative is the existence of different moral norms in different countries and nationalities. Unfortunately, there are only few norms or rules that can be admitted as universal ones. For instance, everyone knows that killing or using drugs is bad. Nevertheless, there are people who enjoy such activities; therefore, they consider they to be good for them.
