Tsukiro Ashimitsu was near death when she found him laying in a pool of his own blood in his room. However, Retsu Unohana wasn’t the Squad Four captain for nothing. When she felt his reiatsu fluctuate dangerously, like an SOS beacon, she left immediately, alarming Isane in the process. She found him quickly and, just as quickly, rushed him back to her barracks.

She walked in with him in her arms, still bleeding out. Isane saw him and immediately went to work, shouting orders for officers to grab a stretcher and medical supplies. When the stretcher came, Unohana gently placed Tsukiro on it and he was wheeled into an empty surgery room.

“Don’t worry, Ashimitsu-san. You’ll be fine with our help.”
