Graphic Novel (and some Manga) Recommendations

I'm in the library close to my town, but not in my town, and I started browsing through their graphic novel section.
I always found it weird that a lot of the novels are all centered in the art section under Non-Fiction, but then others are in the teen section just under the artists names. *shrugs*
(I also find it weird that this library has around 12 Star Wars Manga's in Japanese. Not many people can read Japanese. I can't read Japanese!)
But while browsing through I found many Batman graphic Novels I love, one I've missed and thought about recently, and a new one. :3 Started thinking I should make up a list of recommendations that I think are good. Batman section being on the bottom. XD

Manga Selections
Granted, I don't find these in my Library, but these are ones that I find from used book stores, in Barnes And Noble, or recommended to me.
- Skip Beat: I don't read many serious manga books. When i read manga, I search for ones with a really good story or just entertain me in a pleasant way. Skip Beat is very funny with a main character that I find easy to understand. Throwing her life away to help a childhood friend (and possible crush) relax when he's trying to get away from being a star singer. Eventually, in the first book, she finds out he has been using her for money (money she works very hard for...very...hard for...) and...*coughs* Vows revenge on him. She enters show biz to start the long process of Revenge. XD Very good, but sadly I've only been able to read to book 6. *slumps* Though I believe it's on MangaFox.com.

-My Girlfriend Is A Geek: I'm not sure if this is the title or not, but if its not it's around that. As far as I know there are three books out (B&N had three last time I was there) and it's centered around a Male protagonist (Thats the right word I believe) whose girlfriend is...a geek...Very funny, I'm enjoying it greatly!

-Petshop Of Horrors:I cannot stress how much I love this series! It's amazing! It's funny! It's scary! Everything I love bundled into a series. It's a must read! It's old though, and hard to find (I long for the day I can have the series in my hands) but thankfully, Mangafox.com exists! They have the whole first series on there. It's about a cop who is, at first,on a case that links to a pet shop in China town, run by Count D. Then it goes from him having cases linked to the shop, to just spending time with the Count. Great series!

- Rabbit Doubt: I love horror movies with good plots that can actually surprise me. This manga surprised me, had great art, and made me lean on the edge of my seat in suspense! I was recommended by a friend on another website I go to, who said it was worth a shot. It's about a group of school kids who meet up because of a cellular game called Rabbit Doubt. From what I remember, the game is about everyone is a 'rabbit' and there is one disguised as a 'wolf'. The game is basically to see if the wolf can lie around to 'eat' all the rabbits, I believe. The teens meet up and have a little get together, and then wake up in an abandoned factory (*coughsawcough*) where the game is turned into reality. Without the eating. (I'm doing such a horrible explanation. XD Gonna stop now.)

And that's the Manga I can remember...Lets move on to-
Graphic Novels

-Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: alright so there was a movie made from this series, and the series is amazing! It's funny and the art is wonderful~ And it has hint offs to some games I like. Defiantly worth the read!

-Demo: I found this in my library. It's very interesting. Since I have it handy I'm getting the description from it. "Twelve stories of young people standing at the crossroads, each faced with a life-altering decision in a world where merely living is hard enough." I approve of this GN. *thumbs up* If I could own it, I would.

-Sandman: OK. IT'S NOT A GN. IT'S AN AMAZING COMIC SERIES. But hard to get to. BUT IT'S AMAZING. *listing anyway not giving a darn*

-Batman: Arkham Asylum, A serious house on a serious earth. - I love this book so much, i cannot stress it. And I own it. It's just...brilliant. I love re-reading it over and over again. just staring at the pages. THe art is so wonderful, and it feels so meaningful.

And that's all I'm putting right now. I keep going away from this and getting distracted from other things.
