Ok, I'm going to take a moment to talk about a lot of the new anime and manga I've been watching and reading. I really haven't had time to finsih anything, but I'll mention a few in passing and give my first impressions.
Captive Hearts (manga): Highly reccomended. The manga-ka, Matsuri Hino is, in my opinion, one of the best artists in the genre as far as visual apeall is concerned. Her romantic images are entirely "captivating". Her cute humor and interesting plot make for a fully enjoyable read.
Beauty Pop (manga): Ok, this is kinda cute. Very pre-teen girly. Its adorable and all, but parts of it are just really shallow and the plot is a bit loose.
Pandora Hearts (anime): At first glance, this show was confusing and dark, but after a few episodes I've really started to enjoy it. It balances drama, humor, and action very well. Though, my favorite part, I must admit is the music! If anyone knows where to get the sound-track, please let me know.
Hitman Reborn (anime): Ok, I REALLY like this one. Its hilarious and completely adorable. It gets rediculous in places, but its good entertainment through and through.
Furi Kuri (anime): A friend had me watch this with him, and I had to say "Huh?" This is the most RANDOM anime I've ever seen. It makes very little sense, if any. I admit, its very funny, but I advise you only to watch it if you have a few brain cells to spare.
I may do more in-depth rants for these at a later time. Until then, have fun, enjoy life, and please, survive till the holidays.
