New car and new room

Hey all! I just went down yesterday and got another slightly used car to replace the one I wrecked about a month ago. What I had before was a Toyota corolla, and what I'm in now is a focus, which is basically just Fords' version, but the same desiegn. Its the same year and all, a bit more milage but not bad. Plus, it didn't cost too much, so I have gas money now! Yay!

On the down side of life, however, I got kicked out of my dorm. They randomly decided that the entire third floor of my building needed remodeling and gave us two weeks to find somewhere else and move all our stuff out, or else. Then, they made us pay MORE rent to move to another building. We are not allowed to dissolve our contract, ot there is a fee for that too. Needless to say, all the residents were annoyed. I was able to find a room thats basically the bottom floor, but the same set-up, but my neighbors are loud and the room is not in as good condition. To top it off, we either had to move during finals week, or stay there spring break to move!! Really unfair.

But, at least with my wheels I can get out once in a while and I don't feel so tied to campus. Though I'm seriously going to consider off-campus housing for the fall, if they college is just gonna randomly kick students out of thier rooms like that.

so, thats whats going on in my life. I'm loving college life, but there are certain aspects that I'll need to deal with. I will not be bullied so easily. I moved my stuff, though I'm not fully unpacked yet. I went ahead and came to my parents for spring break and am having fun withmy sibs. Will finish when I get back, and will see where I can move (hopefully for the last time) when my housing contract with the college is up.

Ok, thats DRs life updae. The Moral of the story is "Be careful who you trust with your money, especailly when it comes to housing" LOL
