Dragon Story
It's April 24,1750, the Salem witch trials are going on. A young girl is born, her mom died giving birth to the girl she calls Derek. Derek was about to be killed for her birthmark, a star on her forehead known to humans as the mark of a witch. It's truthfully the mark of the Dragon rider. right before her burning a dragon came down and picked Derek up and said, "I'm Hope this is Derek, she is no witch, she is a dragon rider."
Then the town leader said," That’s just as bad, we cant defeat a dragon so just take her and never return." the town murmured it's agreement.
So Hope took Derek and flew to mount Everest were the dragon riders lived to stay safe from the cruel human world. Derek was a genius who could talk which is why a baby dragon was drawn to her instead of the kids in Dragon Home.
When Hope landed Derek asked to everyone else’s astonishment," is this the home of the dragon riders and is my intelligence and mystic abilities why Hope chose me?"
The leader said," this is the home of the dragon riders but ask Hope the other question,"
"No Derek, I chose you for you. Your sweet and kind and still need a chance to live. So you should live hear as my rider." said Hope.
"so where do we live?" asked Derek.
"In the dragon nursery were we will be taken care of until we are 4 years old." said Hope.
"not you two. The nursery is for dragons that still need to mature mentally. But you two were mature at birth, so well get you a dragon wyre." said the leader.
So they went to there new wyre or dragon home. It was one room still, but they loved it. And to think, they were born today.
The dragonets are 3 weeks old, It was time for them to prepare for flying with stretching exercises. They were all down there with there riders, they need them to practice carrying weight. Hope was down there to, but she was holding her rider since her rider was 3 weeks old to.
Serona, a 13 year old rider was mean enough to ask the teacher, "How is Hope going to fly holding her rider? She going to strap a seat on her back?" The whole class laughed.
"Serona that’s quite enough." said the teacher.
"No, no, teacher its ok. She's right. I need to do things on my own. Hope hold me out."
"You can't Derek, you'll give everything about your powers away." Hope said.
"So." said Derek. So Hope held her out and a body that looked like it was made out of light surrounded Derek.
" wha...What’s that." asked Serona.
than Derek quoted," To help Hope in flight I created a body of light."
" So that’s how you oil her scales and wash her. We were wondering. "Said the teacher.
" And she can carry me now since this weighs nothing and I only weigh 5 pounds." said Derek. "After all they carry items that weigh 10 pounds at this age after all."
So Hope picked up Derek and put her on her back. Then she took off flying. So Hope was the first dragon to fly with her rider at 3 weeks old.
Hope was flying high, higher than any other dragon would dare at 3 weeks old. Her rider was on her back as she started to land, but just before she could Emera one of Serona's lackeys dragons tackled Hope out of the sky. Then she said, "Serona's taking over this mountain, and killing anyone who opposes her. She said you would oppose her and to just kill you."
Derek smiled and said, "You can't take me down. Neither can the 20 other dragons from this batch that you brought for backup." So the dragons came out of hiding and all at once attacked Derek and Hope. Derek put up a shield and 21 dragons all at once got paralyzed when they hit it.
Than Derek said, "I know this sounds childish but I told you so." Than Derek and Hope headed off to the leader to tell him what happened. He was tied up when they got there. His dragon Corza was paralyzed. Serona stepped out from behind the thrown and said," come to challenge me witch." with a snarl." I wont be defeated by a three week old witch." Hope was enraged.
"She's not a witch, she's a mystic. So back off." than surprisingly she flamed at Serona.(dragons can't flame until there 6 months old usually.) Just then Sira, Serona's dragon came out and attacked Hope. Hope was furious, so she scorched Sira's backside and pined her to the ground. At this time Derek had used her light body to pin Serona to the ground and paralyze her. Then Derek set the leader free.
Than he said," Serona for attempted concur of the Dragon Home you are hereby banished to roam the human world." said the leader.
"But...but you cant do that. I'll get killed. "said Serona.
"you should have thought of that before." said the leader.
"No." said Derek. "She will not get banished. It's cruel, and she still is a dragon rider so she still has a right to live."
"Fine Derek, but her and all her lackeys are under your control and are your trouble now." said the leader.
"Thank you Derek, thank you. I'll never forget this. I'll always serve you from now on. anything you need I'll help with." said Serona.
"You don't have to. Just stay out of trouble unless it's the right thing to do." said Derek.
"Ok, I'll behave from now on." said Serona.
So today Derek and Hope saved the Dragon Home.
Derek and Hope were taking a stroll out in the woods up on the mountain. Hope was hunting. Then her instincts got hold and she tried to kill a wolf nearby. Derek séanced it was a demon not a wolf but the battle had already began. The two were terribly injured in the end but at least they were alive.
" Sorry, "Hope said to the wolf demon, "I thought you were a normal wolf. I hate hunting but I have to have the meat to survive. I’m sure you know what I mean."
"Yah...Why are you healing me not killing me. Demons and dragons are mortal enemies. And what is with your rider, what is she?" Said the wolf demon. Hope and Derek seemed amused. The wolf demon didn't know why.
"First, there are no such things as mortal enemies. Second, we hurt you so we should help you. Third, Hope still had some control or you would be dead right now. Forth, even if there is a such thing as mortal enemies were different from normal dragons and riders. Fifth, I’m a one month old mystic human held up by a body I made of light. Sixth, Hope and I will never kill.
Now some questions for you, what’s your name?" Said Derek.
"Samantha." She said reluctantly.
"Ok, so your felling better, so what now?" Asked Hope.
" I don't know? I guess I'll go home."
"What no thanks?" said Derek.
"What do you want?" said Samantha defensively.
Derek laughed gently and said, "just say thank you."
Samantha seemed surprised and said, "thank you."
"See you than." Said Hope., and they started home.
"wait," said Samantha, "did you know your pack wiped out my pack?"
This caught Derek and Hope off guard. "what?" said Derek confused.
"take me with you. Please." begged Samantha. So they took her home and Derek said. "Turn into wolf form and act like our pet. It's the only way to sneak you in."
"What am I a dog?" asked Samantha.
"No, your just playing one." said Hope. It worked. The others couldn't séance it was a demon like Derek could so they thought it was a wild dog that was now a pet. Latter under the full moon Samantha turned into her human form and set down inside.
Than she said, "I wish transforming didn't ruin my clothes. It's hard to replace them. Especially when your alone."
"Your not alone now. You've got us. "said Derek. Then, "Someone's coming. "she said. There was a knock on the door. Than Kira the one who brought Derek dinner came in. she looked at Samantha and said, "Cute dog. What's her name?"
"Samantha. "said Hope. Than Kira left.
"You'll have to stay hidden most of the time. I guess this is a forbidden friendship." said Derek, and they all laughed. And it was a forbidden friendship.
Hope, Derek, and Samantha, were walking down the street. Samantha was in animal form of course. Derek and Hope had secretly been working on a project and had just recently told Samantha. She was still in shock. They were going to the center of the town to tell what they had been working on. Everyone knows now when this two month old has an announcement it's important, and to listen. So they went to the center of the town square.
Then Derek said," Everyone listen up." and they all looked her way." I've got an announcement. I've bean having trouble with the light body as you know. It's fine for walking or working, but if I’m fighting and someone gets past Hope and my mental defense than I’m out in the open. This body can't fight. So we found a way to fix that problem. We have found a way to solidize my light body so that I can look and act and fight like a ten year old." everyone gasped," It's only temporary like my light body, it fades when I sleep, but now I can act and look a little bit normal. So lets test the magic out." At this moment all of Derek's light body started to glow brighter, then it started to look solid. In less then a minute Derek looked ten years old. Then she asked," How do I look?"
"Ten years old and even more beautiful." said Hope.
"Impossible." said Serona.
"Far from it." said Derek.
Right that moment they all heard a large bang. Everyone rushed to the front and saw about 3000 wolf demons prepared for war. And Derek said," It's a good thing I can at least fight now." every dragon and rider was getting in to war position." Hay, hay, hay, that may not be necessary, maybe we can reason with them." said Derek. Leader was furious.
"Their savages. They reason with no one but there own kind and they are our mortal enemies, we cant reason with them." said leader.
"First, I said the last time I was told that they were our mortal enemies that I don't believe in mortal enemies, and I still believe that. Second, their not savages, trust me I know. And third...there is one of them among us." Derek said as Samantha turned into her normal self. Everyone gasped and looked at Samantha and got ready to attack. Derek and Hope stepped in there way.
"Out of our way you two. She must have given us away to her pack, we must kill her." said Serona.
"No she not from that pack and she not a spy or trader. She the only survivor of that pack you wiped out last year, remember. Sounds like your the savages. So lets see if she can reason with them.” Everyone eventually gave in since they were humiliated by the way Derek and Hope were looking at them, they were angry and disappointed. So Samantha went up to talk to the wolf demons in human form.
"We are here to take revenge for our sister tribe. What is the meaning of this? A wolf demon on the side of the dragons, and aren't you the daughter of the chief from the destroyed tribe." said the wolf demons leader.
"Yes sir, I am Koza's daughter. But one year after my tribe got destroyed I met a young dragon rider who does not believe in mortal enemies. She has helped and protected me for one month and changed this tribe for the better." She told him the story of how her and Derek met. "So give us a few years and this tribe wont be made of killers anymore." said Samantha. So the chief said he would leave the dragon riders in peace if they promised not to kill anymore wolf demons, and because of all this Samantha was allowed to be part of the tribe of dragon riders. Samantha got her chance.
It was a beautiful day on June 24, 1751. Wolf demons were aloud in the Dragon Home now, and had named this day the first Dragon and wolf demon peace anniversary since one year ago Samantha sighed the treaty. Derek and Hope who were one year old now but looked ten, were getting ready for the festival when a knock came on the door. It was leader.
"Derek, Hope, it's time I told you what the council has been planning. You know each year we pick new members of the council. We give them special training and put them in office. This year your taking my job as leader. We will take you away for two months of training and then put you in office. We will announce this at the festival. Ready?" said leader.
"No. Were only one." said Hope.
"O well. see you at the festival." said leader. Derek and Hope's fun had been spoiled. Later at the festival leader made his announcement and everyone gasped. Some said, "but there only one. Your taking there child hood",or " that's unfair, we cant live without them." but in the end they left for training. In two months they would return, but they really didn't want to go.
Derek and Hope finally returned from training. Nothing seemed to change except how worn out the x-leader was. He kept saying, "they knew it all. But how?" We call him Jimmy again(that was his original name.). They took the lead and started there year of lead. They had trouble at first but settled in. Under there lead everyone prospered in peace. Don't you wish this year could go on forever?
Derek and Hope were great leaders they got reelected every year until they were 5 years old when they refused. So the old leader came back. Strange things were happening down below though. The humans had just started the industrial revolution. Nice time period this was going to be.
Derek and Hope were great leaders, but this is 20 years later after they got sick and died but before they died they had 2 kids each, 2 sons and 2 daughters. This is their story. Their only 5 and now their orphaned since their dad died of grief. After both elected leaders and beloved peace workers had died a war broke out between the dragon riders and the vampires. Animal Demons stayed on the side of the dragon riders, while Human Demons stayed with the vampires. Crystal, Derek's daughter, and Rose, Hope's daughter, hated the war while Joey Derek's son, and Cory Hope's son, wanted to fight in it. Even with there different views when they were 15 years old they had all had enough of the war so they all went strait to the enemy to negotiate peace. Crystal said to them," Let us do our parents work and keep the peace." and the council agreed.
The kids were having trouble, their parents old job wasn't as easy as it looked. Fights were breaking out and Cory hated paperwork. So just when they thought everything was fine it all went wrong, people didn't like them like their parents. So they had to put their lives on the line time and time again before they were trusted. Talk about kid troubles.
Its been over a century. Humans climbed Mt Everest and society's mix. The end.

Star's Story
It was 1495 and a young girl was born in London, England. Here name was Star. She was 2 years old when she watched her mother burned as a witch. She has had to hide ever since. Her best friend Samantha never left her side.
She stumbled once in the woods and found she had tripped on an egg. A dragon egg. Her mom really was a witch it seems, and her final work of magic was to give her daughter this dragon.
So Star at five years old studied magic with her dragon, Hope. Dragons naturally know magic so they can teach there riders. And Stars first work of magic was to summon a wolf demon cub to be Samantha's partner.
Nano was his name. He had a human form and he was her best friend. He taught her magic only after Star made her promise not to kill unless it was an emergency.
One day Hope saw another dragon overhead. Star sent up a "come down" message and he landed. The rider was Steven, the dragon Lunick. Steven then asked, "Where are you from? I was the only living dragon rider after the great slaughter."
"Were from London, England. My mother was a witch, Her name was Angel. She gave me a dragon egg for her final bit of magic before she was burned. So if the dragons were all killed how did you two survive?"
He hesitated than said, "We were captured. He thought we could be useful, but we escaped. "He was lying. he was captured and controlled against his will by a man named Darknock, the killer of dragons and riders.
Star could séance he was lying and so could the others. That's when Samantha raised the sword that Nano made for her, got in fighting stance and said, "tell us the truth or die were you stand."
Star armed her bow, used magic to set it on fire, and aimed the arrow right at Stevens head. Than Star said" It doesn't have to be this way, just tell the truth."
Steven hesitated than said, "we can't tell much were bound by a magic oath of secrecy, but we have to tell someone something if we want to be free. "Than he said, "an evil man named Darknock killed all the dragon riders and captured us, and than he put us under a magic loyalty spell so we cant disobey him. We need someone else to kill him for us to be free. He ordered us we couldn't go for help, but the help came to us. To kill him you have to stave him through the heart."
Then Star said, "Take us to him."
Then Samantha said, "Star you can't seriously trust him."
"We have to. It's the only way they can be free.",Star said.
So they followed them to a dark castle filled with horrors beyond belief. they went through the gates dressed as scared prisoners about to be killed, as Steven led them through. When in Darknock's chamber they pulled out there weapons, and Samantha ran forward screaming, "die Darknock die" She was shot back instantly. She was unconscious and half dead.
Nano screamed instantly, transformed into human form, and ran to her while screaming, "Samantha, Samantha!"
At that time Star sent a flaming arrow right through Darknock's heart ending his life.
All England rejoiced as there tyrant king wizard was killed. They told Star to lead them but she refused. She said shed prefer to protect them, not lead them. She said to have Samantha lead them with Nano by her side, she much more devoted to England.
To think, all this happened to five year olds.
It's 1500 in London, England. Samantha, the new Queen of England, was frustrated and annoyed. She is 5 years old, a warrior, and best friend to two dragons there riders and a wolf demon, and she’s expected to rule a county. She was able to rule a country, that's the easy part, but the manners! She hated the manners! 'Star would have done better', she thought, 'she loves doing all this fancy stuff, but the army needs there leader.' But she loved England and loved leading it.
Three weeks after taking the thrown she received a marriage proposal from the king of Spain, she turned him down, he declared war. At the time he didn't know there were two dragons in the army. He learned 3 weeks later when his first army got slaughtered. His second army came prepared but still lost again. He gave up.
Its been 7 years, Samantha's 12 years old, and all England told her she had to get married. She did the one thing no one expected(except Star), she married her bodyguard Nano, the wolf demon. the fun part was it was a double wedding. Star and Hope were marrying Steven and Lunick(the dragon rider wedding).Out of Samantha and Nano came a boy, Daniel. Unlike his dad his animal spirit was not a wolf but a dragon, which split from him to become a dragon, Nathaniel. This made a new dragon rider! From Star and Steven came a girl named Caemia, while Hope and Lunick made her dragon, Socona. Life was hard for the kids who (of course) fell in love at first sight. The public thought they were dangerous and kept there kids away, but even with all these difficulties they made friends like Zenon(a tiger demon),and Cory(a bear Demon). They were all best friends and subjects under the greatest queen England has ever had, Queen Samantha.
A dragon rider named Caemia from London, England was the third oldest dragon rider. She's 18 years old. There are 200 dragon riders.(her parents have been very busy the last 18 years.) Dragon riders are immortal like demons and will not die of old age, so they don't have to marry so young. Trouble is, someone already proposed, a young dragon rider named Daniel.(forth oldest) She loves him but is not ready for commitment.(Daniel is also the prince of England.) So she says "yes, in exactly 3 years ill marry you." Daniel was trilled.
Its been 4 years there married and trouble comes. There isn't enough room in England for more dragons. So Star the lead dragon rider and Caemia's mom, sent the riders to find a new home. Caemia is sent to a new country that we call America. After she comes home they move to America which they call dragon world.
When they arrived the natives shot Star and Steven through the heart. At her death Stars last words were, "Caemia your in charge." then they died and there dragons died with them. Caemia never was as good as her mom but was still a great leader.
