Hello everyone. A couple of you lovelies asked me about my avi so I thought Id share my love of the series here. The series is called Air Gear. Its about a boy named Itsuki "Ikki" Minami and it follows his life. Hes a regular jhs punk that leads his own street gang known as the eastside guns. He has earned the title "baby face" which if you look at him, you can see why.
The story starts off with a turf war between eastside and westside students. Ikki being Ikki, he takes them out no problem...but unknowingly the westsiders have connections with a deadly group. They call in a group of stormriders (group /team/gang what have you that ride modified skates known as Air Trecks) known as the skullsaiders. They totally trash the guns hideout and trick Ikki into trying to save his friends...only to get hurt himself.
He gets some help from some very unlikely people and jumps head first into theg amazing world of ATs. While taking on the saiders with his new wheels, Ikki learns how to truely fly himself and gets a sneak peek at something very few people can see. What does he see you ask? Im afraid youll have to watch or read it to find out =p I will warn you its rated OT (older teen) for a reason. One reason being its written and drawn by a eechi artist. That being said, theres nothing naughty in it just a lot of nudity and swearing.
If you can look past that, its an incredible story with truely lovable characters and....it can teach you things that I feel other manga and anime cant. Once you find the message, dont forget it.

Now I wont lie, there are huge differences in the manga and anime but, I love them both dearly.
