Wow, it has been a very long time since I last logged onto this site, but it's not because I'm not still a fan of art. I am just of a different fashion now (embellish a later). I don't know why, but something spurred me to come back to this site today. Right now I'm sitting at work, probably should be actually working, but I'm glad I decided to do this instead. This site did so much for me back when I was a frequent user, I can just remember all the times I would sit at my computer for hours on edge waiting for someone to comment on my freshly submitted pictures. Whether it was good feedback or bad, i loved it all the same. It was just the fact that somebody took the time to recognize my art, even if only for 15 seconds. I don't draw or watch anime as much as I used to but I still do love to doodle sometimes (and have gotten a little better since my last post), I think I'll do a picture dedicated to this site pretty soon if I get the time. College is a bit time consuming, but even though I don't draw or watch anime as much, I have not left the Japan scene. One of my new hobbies is to build cars and staying true to my origins I'm a fan of imports. My current car is an '01 Acura Integra and I love it to death, I have worked on it harder than any other art project and it shows. Well, I really ought to get back to work, but I think I might revisit this sight every once in a while, I just looked at the fan art section and saw some new faces that show some great potential.
OK so this is me, quite plain and simple to see. My name is Quintavious, I'm 17, my friends call me Quin or "Q", but yeah i have 2 brothers and a sister. In my immediate family I am the only one with any artistic talent whatsoever, so yeah I'm like that constantly struggling artist, who is always stressing for a moment of peace to just sit and relax. My uncle and my grandmother are the people who pushed and are still pushing me to develop my talent, because both of them are amazing artist. However i don't plan on pusuing a career in an art based industry. I......want to be a (duh duh duh) DENTIST. Yeah, I know thats an job to aspire to, but my grandfather was one and he's always been a great rolemodel in my life, despite his lack of artistic talent (well he can sculpt teeth), but anywayz Yeah this is pretty much my life. I play basketball, I'm in the band, and i play xbox live (Gamertag: GENJI SAMA), hit me up if you wanna play. I live by the words "Seeing with eyes unclouded by hate", which pretty much makes me a pacifist, pretty much, but it means don't judge anything 'til you've taken a good look at it, and then yourself, because you never know what you'll find until you've looked through both sides of the looking glass!
