Let's see.. I'm making a deadline for when my story should be done. Probably the end of this month. I need deadlines for when things should be done, otherwise I just give up on it. I like working under pressure. Like in English class I wrote a long ass story that was due on Friday and I had minus two days that I could work on it. So, I only had three days to work on it, and it was eight pages long. I ended up finishing it for when it was due, so it was all good.
So far though I'm still working on chapter two. I think it's going to consist of five chapters. Pretty short, but the chapters are long. I hope it'll be good. I might just end up re-writing it all together. ._. Gah.. I think I'm going to actually.
I was thinking about getting something of mine published. Probably out of all the things I write nothing would actually get published. It'd be cool if something did though.
Stay tuned if you wanna know about my how my upcoming story is coming along, or isn't coming along. >_>
On second thought I'm just gonna post what I have so far, and if I get good comments, then maybe I won't re-write it all again.
Chapter One:
~Welcome To My Family~
My family isn’t like your typical American family. In fact to some people my family is considered an abomination. To me though; it’s just any other ordinary family. Just quadruple the love. You’re probably wondering what sets my family off from every other family. Well, you see I have two mothers and two fathers. Yes, you read right. Two mothers and two fathers. Now you’re probably sitting there, scratching your brain, wondering how something that odd came about. Don’t worry my friends, for I have answers!
Chapter Two:
~My Mom’s Story~
My mother’s name is Susie. Susie Marie Littleton. She’s a thirty-six year old counselor for gay/lesbian/bi/transgender people. She’s eye candy for the men. Almost drool worthy if you saw some of their faces. Even straight woman double taked my mother as she walked by. She’s beautiful. No doubt about that. You could get lost in her eyes. Her beautiful memorizing green eyes. I swear they could put you in a trance.
My mother was brought up in a little conservative town. Every house in the neighborhood had clean paint, and tidy lawns. The neighborhood seemed almost robotic. Everyone glowed with perfection. It be easy to picture every person in that neighborhood to be perfect out in public, and behind closed doors. Everyone except my family that is..
“I will not have some faggot for a son! That’s ludicrous!” snapped my grandfather.
“Well, guess what dad? You do have a fucking faggot for a son! So accept it!” yelled my uncle Frank who then slammed his bedroom door.
My mother had an older brother named Frank. Who’s actually known as Aunt Frankie now. He decided to come out of the closet on his eighteenth birthday. He felt that maybe his family would accept him for who he was. He was wrong though. Very wrong.
My grandparents forced him into going to see a therapist. Thinking that’d change his mind. My grandmother would set up dates for my uncle with girls in town. Just like my mom, my uncle had good looks as well. So it wasn’t very hard to snatch him a date at last minute. My uncle went along with everything his parents forced him to do. He went to every counseling appointment he had, every date his mother set up for him, every football game he had to watch on television with his father. They thought all of that would change my uncle’s sexuality. They were quite ignorant to think that though.
The only person who didn’t alienate my uncle was my mother. She loved my uncle. She’d always go in his room at night and he’d give her advice.
“Stay true to what you are kid. Don’t ever let anyone try to tell you, you’re something you’re not.”
That always confused my mother. Why was he giving her this advice if he couldn’t take it himself?
One night my mom hid in her brother’s closet. She peeked through the crack of the door. He was wearing one of her dresses. It was pink and had ruffles on the bottom. He twirled around in it, giggling like a little girl. He stopped spinning and stared at himself in the mirror. He touched his cheek lightly. He left the room momentarily and came back with what looked like tons of makeup. He applied lipstick to his lips, blush to his cheeks, and eyeshadow to his eyelids.
My mother watched in awe. Then was when she knew her brother was unlike other brothers. She crept out of the closet quietly. She walked over to her dolled up brother and stared at him. He had an ear to ear grin on his face.
“How do I look sis?” he asked smiling.
“You look beautiful.” replied my mother with tears streaming down her cheeks.
She hadn’t seen her brother that happy in a long time. She promised to keep that night a secret. My uncle continued to prance around the house in female attire when his parents weren’t home. He would even make his voice sound like a girls.
When my mother turned seventeen her brother was the only one to treat her to a wonderful birthday. The two of them laughed the whole day. My mother looked up to her older brother. She still does. Some much in fact she told him her biggest secret.
“Hey, Frankie?”
“Mm?”
“I-I think I’m a lesbian, Frankie..” she stammered.
Her brother looked at her in admiration. “I know, honey. I know.” He said with a little smirk on his face.
“How? How did you know? How could you possibly know? Is it that easy to tell?”
“Sweat pea, I got a little something called “gaydar”. I can tell when someone else happens to be gay. Plus, I know you very well. Never have I once heard you swoon over some silly boy. You’re into the ladies.” He said winking.
“Gaydar? Is there such a thing?”
“It’s sorta like having a gut feeling about someone. Only I like to call it gaydar because it makes it sound more technical. You know what I mean?”
She let out a small giggle and tackled my uncle in a hug onto his bed. She knew she could trust him with anything. Never did she actually tell anyone else what she was feeling or thought.
A few months after my mother’s eighteenth birthday my uncle Frank moved out. He moved to the city where he planned to become a drag queen. Of course, his little sister was the only one who approved of his choices. She wanted to see him perform one day, and he told her she could. They had a pretty tearful goodbye, but that was expected. They promised they’d call each other and write when possible. My mother stood at the end of the drive way as she watched the taxi drive down the street with her brother sitting in the back waving wearing his pink boa around his neck and his face dolled up with makeup. There he goes.. My one and only person I can talk to. She thought to herself. She sniffled and walked back into the house.
Months went by and my mother sunk into a deep depression. She received a letter from my uncle updating her about how his new life was. He was formally known as a transexual. His new name was now Frankie. Frankie met a man who went to the club that Frankie performed at. They started dating and soon moved into together. My mom smiled while she read the letter. She felt as if half the void she felt in her heart was filled.
After staying cooped up in her room all summer long my mom headed off to college. She went to some big university where the bushes were sculpted to look like various animals. There was a big fountain with a statue holding a diploma in it’s hand in front of the school. On the building read “University Of Psychology”. Yeah, that’s right. She wanted to be a psychologist. Ever since the day she came out to her brother she wanted to counsel teenagers. Especially those who happened to have an “un-normal” sexuality. Though she wasn’t going to come right out and say that to anyone. She was first going to get trained to be able to counsel, and then open up her own practice. That was her plan anyway.
She leaved on campus in a dorm room with another girl. Her name was Addie. She was a very religious person, but my mother came to like her once she got to know her. Addie and my mother would study together when they got new material. They were in the same classes. They’d stay up late at night and study, giggling the night away eating pizza and talking amongst themselves into the night.
One night they were having their regular late night study periods when Addie started to just burst into tears. She was home sick. She’d never been away from her family for so long. My mother consoled her, hugging her and telling her that it was going to be okay. When something unexpected happened. Addie stared my mother in the face with such intense. Tears were still streaming down her face, but she leaned in and kissed my mother on the lips. The two of them had such shock on their faces afterwards.
“I-I’m sorry, Susie! I don’t know what came over me. I just-I-“ My mother put her finger to Addie’s lips gently.
“Shh” she said leaning in for another kiss.
That was my mother’s first kiss. A bonus is that it was with a woman. Addie and my mother had a little fling going on through-out college. It’d only be a fling because my mother’s life changed part way through her college experience.
One night my mother and Addie went to a party at a Frat house that was down the block from their dorm. It was a civilized party. More of a social gathering minus all the booze and drugs. My mother was never into that. Addie was really outgoing where as my mother was a little bit timid. She stood in a corner bobbing her head slightly to the music sipping her coffee. While Addie chit-chatted away with other people at the party.
As my mother started getting into the sway of the music this gorgeous guy walked over. He had the most beautiful eyes. The moment you looked at them you got lost in them. He was wearing tight blue jeans, and a gray top that showed off his six pack. My mother actually had to keep herself from drooling.
“Hey, I’m Kirk.” He said offering a hand to her.
“Susie.” She said shaking his hand with a smile on her face.
“Some party, huh?”
“Yeah.”
My mom wasn’t always the big talker. She made a lot of small talk. Mostly answering when people spoke to her. Her and Kirk seemed to hit it off though. They talked about their home life, and my mother actually mentioned how her brother was a drag queen. As soon as those words left her mouth she gasped. He just smiled and said, “You’re brother and I seem a lot a like.” My mom looked at him with a really confused face.
“Wha-what do you mean?”
He smiled again and said, “I’m gay.”
My mom’s eyes just about bulged out of her head. In some ways she couldn’t believe he was gay. She’d never known another gay guy but her brother, and he was just really feminine. He didn’t seem to be so feminine at all to her.
“Well, hey. I gotta get back to my dorm and hit the hay, ‘cause I’ve got an exam tomorrow. I’ll give you my number though.” Kirk grabbed a pen that was hidden behind his ear and wrote his number on a napkin.
“How about you give me yours, too?” He said smiling.
“Sure.” My mother said back with a smile.
She wrote her number on a napkin and said goodbye to Kirk. Addie walked over and greeted my mother by wrapping her arms around my mother’s waist. They ended up going back to their dorm as well. Only they didn’t sleep. No, sleeping wasn’t really part of their agenda that night. I promise I’ll keep this as PG-13 as best I can.
Addie opened the door from behind as she was sucking face with my mother. Addie sorta stumbled into the dark room, and my mother and her both giggled. My mom knew she was going to lose her virginity that night. She also knew she was nervous as all hell. Addie whispered to her, “Don’t worry. I’ll be gentle.” She caressed my mother’s cheek. She closed her eyes feeling the warmth of Addie’s lips against hers. Her heart began to race, but she knew she wanted this to happen. Addie moved to her neck kissing it gently. My mother laid her head down on the bed while Addie took advantage of her wanting body. She removed my mother’s shirt and kissed her breast bone tenderly. My mother never knew she’d ever feel the way she did that night. Of course I can’t really tell you the rest for it’s pretty much rated R. Not to mention she wouldn’t even tell me the rest. She lost her virginity that night though, and she wouldn’t have pictured it any other way.
Kirk and my mother would go shopping together, and go out to eat every once and a while. They discussed their plans for the future, and the two of them both wanted to have children. My mother told him she could never picture herself with a man, and Kirk agreed. He could never picture himself with a woman. Though they always talked about this crazy idea. If Kirk impregnated my mother and they shared the same child, but had different partners. They’d laugh at the idea, but deep down they knew they really wanted to go through with it. Which is exactly what they did.
Kirk and my mother got closer and closer as their college life went on. Which then resulted in my mother and Addie drifting more and more.
I dunno. What do you think?
